Tikkun 22<\/strong> – 44<\/p>\n

Genesis 2:2<\/a>,3
\nAnd on the seventh day God finished His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made
\nAnd God blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it; because that in it He rested from all His work which God in creating had made.<\/p>\n

“וַיְכַל אֱלֹהִים בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי, מְלַאכְתּוֹ אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה
\n; וַיִּשְׁבֹּת בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי, מִכָּל-מְלַאכְתּוֹ אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה”
\n“וַיְבָרֶךְ אֱלֹהִים אֶת-יוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי,
\nוַיְקַדֵּשׁ אֹתוֹ: כִּי בוֹ שָׁבַת מִכָּל-מְלַאכְתּוֹ,
\nאֲשֶׁר-בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים לַעֲשׂוֹת”<\/p>\n

וַיְכַל, “and He Finished on the seventh day”
\nוַיִּשְׁבֹּת “and He Rested on the Seventh day”
\nוַיְבָרֶךְ, “and He Blessed the Seventh day”
\nוַיְקַדֵּשׁ “and He Hallowed it”<\/p>\n

The Zohar connects the first three that have direct reference to the Seventh day, to the patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.<\/p>\n

“And He Blessed for the right column<\/a>. And He hallowed for the left column<\/a> and He rested”. This is for the unification of left and right to make the central column.<\/p>\n

The four aspects of God’s actions on the Seventh day created the first unification of the light and vessel in Malchut<\/a>. The returning light of the seventh day reached the highest levels.<\/p>\n

This is also expressed in the last words that sum the whole Creation
\n“אֲשֶׁר-בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים לַעֲשׂוֹת”
\n“that God created to make”<\/p>\n

אֲשֶׁר same letters as ראש, meaning head and relates to the world of Emanation<\/a>, Atzilut<\/a>
\nבָּרָא, for the world of Beriah<\/a>, בריאה<\/a>.
\nאֱלֹהִים, for the world of Formation, יצירה
\nלַעֲשׂוֹת, for the world of action, עשיה<\/p>\n

The first word in Genesis 2:1<\/a> ויכולו with value of 72 brings the whole creation as one. The Zohar tells us that this word includes the three patriarchs that are the chariots for the three columns<\/a> of the Tree of Life<\/a> to this world. It also connects us to the three verses in the Torah that reveal the 72 names. (Exodus 14:19<\/a>,20,21)<\/p>\n

72 names have 216 letters and that is the numerical value of Gevurah<\/a>, גבורה<\/a>, which is the aspect of Elokim אלקים, the name of God that Created the world for us.
\nYHVH<\/a>, which is the aspect of Mercy will be the force of the Final Redemption.

\n“וּבְרַחֲמִים גְּדֹלִים, אֲקַבְּצֵךְ ”
\n“with great compassion I will gather you”
\n“וּבְחֶסֶד עוֹלָם, רִחַמְתִּיךְ–אָמַר גֹּאֲלֵךְ, יְהוָה ”
