\n“וַיֹּאמֶר בִּלְעָם לְבָלָק הִתְיַצֵּב עַל עֹלָתֶךָ וְאֵלְכָה אוּלַי יִקָּרֵה יְהוָה לִקְרָאתִי וּדְבַר מַה יַּרְאֵנִי וְהִגַּדְתִּי לָךְ וַיֵּלֶךְ שֶׁפִי.”
\n““Stay here by your burnt offering while I am gone,” Balaam said to Balak. “Perhaps YHVH<\/a> will meet with me. And whatever He reveals to me, I will tell you.” So Balaam went off to a barren height,”
\nGenesis 49:17<\/a>
\n“יְהִי דָן נָחָשׁ עֲלֵי דֶרֶךְ שְׁפִיפֹן עֲלֵי אֹרַח הַנֹּשֵׁךְ עִקְּבֵי סוּס וַיִּפֹּל רֹכְבוֹ אָחוֹר.”
\n“”Dan shall be a serpent in the way, A horned snake<\/a> (שְׁפִיפֹן) in the path, That bites the horse’s heels So that his rider falls backwards.”
\nThe Zohar tells us that ‘A horned snake<\/a> (שְׁפִיפֹן) in the path’ is Tzalya that was from the tribe of Dan and could control the path of the Snake<\/a>, who is Balaam. Balaam was connected to the Left as male but Tzalya was connected with aspects of Male and Female that is judgment from both sides. It gave him the advantage and control to overcome Balaam’s magic.<\/p>\n

\n‘That bites the horse’s heels’ is ‘עירה’ ‘Erah’ that was with King David. He was from the tribe of Dan and one of the heroes in King David’s forces. ‘that his rider falls backward’ is ‘שריה’, ‘Seraiah’ a general in King David’s army that was also from the tribe of Dan. The Zohar tells that he will come with Mashiach ben Ephraim to make wars with the nations that are against Israel<\/a>, leading to Mashiach ben David and the Final Redemption.
\nJacob blessed his son with; “Dan shall be a serpent in the way” and immediately add Genesis 49:18<\/a>
\n“לִישׁוּעָתְךָ קִוִּיתִי יְהוָה.” “”For Your salvation, I wait, O YHVH<\/a>.”
\nIt was said to turn the ‘judgment’ aspect of Dan into positive and make him a force under YHVH<\/a> to protect from the Snake<\/a> of the other side<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nDan is the aspect of the Left of the pure side. The name Dan, ‘דן’ means judgment. He was the fifth son of Jacob and aspect of Hod<\/a>, left leg.
\nGenesis 49:16<\/a>
\n“דָּן יָדִין עַמּוֹ כְּאַחַד שִׁבְטֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.”
\n“”Dan shall judge his people, As one of the tribes of Israel<\/a>.”
\nThe Tribe of Dan was the second largest tribe after the tribe of Judah. They were known for their strength and during the journeys, in the wilderness, they travel behind the other tribes to provide them with protection. In wars, they were the first to lead.
\nSamson was a judge from the tribe of Dan and known to have superhuman power.<\/p>\n
