188. מָה הַטַּעַם? מִשּׁוּם שֶׁהֶעָנִי הוּא שְׁבוּר לֵב, וְכָתוּב (שם לד) קָרוֹב ה’ לְנִשְׁבְּרֵי לֵב וְגוֹ’. וְהֶעָנִי עוֹשֶׂה תָמִיד קְטָטָה בַּקָּדוֹשׁ-בָּרוּךְ-הוּא, וְהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא מַקְשִׁיב וְשׁוֹמֵעַ דְּבָרָיו. כֵּיוָן שֶׁמִּתְפַּלֵּל תְּפִלָּתוֹ, פּוֹתֵחַ כָּל חַלּוֹנוֹת הָרְקִיעִים, וְכָל שְׁאָר הַתְּפִלּוֹת שֶׁעוֹלֶה לְמַעְלָה, דּוֹחֶה אוֹתָן אוֹתוֹ עָנִי שְׁבוּר לֵב, שֶׁכָּתוּב תְּפִלָּה לְעָנִי כִי יַעֲטֹף. כִּי יִתְעַטֵּף צָרִיךְ לוֹ לִכְתֹּב! מַה זֶּה כִי יַעֲטֹף? אֶלָּא הוּא עוֹשֶׂה עִטּוּף לְכָל תְּפִלּוֹת הָעוֹלָם, וְלֹא נִכְנָסוֹת עַד שֶׁנִּכְנֶסֶת תְּפִלָּתוֹ.
\n189. וְהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא אוֹמֵר: יִתְעַטְּפוּ כָּל הַתְּפִלּוֹת, וּתְפִלָּה זוֹ תִּכָּנֵס אֵלַי. אֵינִי רוֹצֶה כָּאן בֵּית דִּין שֶׁיִּדּוֹן בֵּינֵינוּ. לְפָנַי יִהְיוּ תַּרְעוֹמוֹת שֶׁלּוֹ, וַאֲנִי וְהוּא לְבַדֵּנוּ. וְהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא מִתְיַחֵד לְבַדּוֹ בְּאוֹתָן הַתַּרְעוֹמוֹת, בְּאוֹתָהּ תְּפִלָּה, שֶׁכָּתוּב וְלִפְנֵי ה’ יִשְׁפֹּךְ שִׂיחוֹ. לִפְנֵי ה’ בְּוַדַּאי.\n<\/div>\n

\nThe prayer of the poor is higher because the poor have a broken heart as it says in Psalms 34:19<\/a>
\n“קָרוֹב יְהוָה, לְנִשְׁבְּרֵי-לֵב וְאֶת-דַּכְּאֵי-רוּחַ יוֹשִׁיעַ”
\n“YHVH<\/a> is near to the brokenhearted; He saves the contrite in spirit.”
\nThe prayer of the poor has priority and all other prayers are delayed. After the Holy One Blessed be He listen to the prayer of the poor, he opens the windows of heavens and let the other prayers follow the prayer of the poor and enter the gates of heavens. <\/p>\n

\n“תְּפִלָּה לְעָנִי כִי יַעֲטֹף וְלִפְנֵי יְהוָה יִשְׁפֹּךְ שִׂיחוֹ.”
\n“A Prayer of the poor when he is faint and pours out his complaint before YHVH<\/a>.”
\nThe prayer of the poor is welcomed and accepted by the Holy One Blessed be He without a court process. Regular prayers are evaluated in a court before letting them move forward. The brokenhearted is allowed to ‘pours out his complaint before YHVH<\/a>’.<\/p>\n
