Song of Songs 6:11<\/a>
\n“אֶל-גִּנַּת אֱגוֹז יָרַדְתִּי, לִרְאוֹת בְּאִבֵּי הַנָּחַל; לִרְאוֹת הֲפָרְחָה הַגֶּפֶן, הֵנֵצוּ הָרִמֹּנִים ”
\n“I went down into the garden of nuts, to look at the green plants of the valley, to see whether the vine budded, and the pomegranates were in flower.”<\/p>\n

The seven species are the aspect of the seven Sefirot of the world of Tikkun. The special fruits represent different corrections. In the previous Daily Zohar we mentioned the correction of wheat, barley and grapes.
\nThe fig, Netzach<\/a>, is a fruit that must be picked at the exact right time otherwise it goes bad. Adam and Eve ‘dressed’ themselves in fig leaves because they fell into death, which is the aspect of time.<\/p>\n

Pomegranate, Hod<\/a>, is the aspect of the precepts in the Torah and to connect to the strong energy inside this fruit, we need to remove the shell, Kilpa, carefully.<\/p>\n

The olive is naturally bitter and when eaten raw it hurts the brain and blocks the person’s memory. When we press it heavily we extract the energy that can elevate us to the level of Chokmah<\/a>, improve our brain functions and spiritual connection. The kings of Israel<\/a> used to be anointed with olive oil.<\/p>\n

Dates are the aspect of Malchut<\/a>. It’s a tall tree and its fruits are high above the ground. We need to climb to enjoy the fruit. This represents our spiritual work and we need to work first before enjoying the fruit.
\nAfter we get it, dates can be preserved in many ways and the higher level of it is the honey that is made out of dates.<\/p>\n

Psalms 45:14<\/a>
\n“כָּל-כְּבוּדָּה בַת-מֶלֶךְ פְּנִימָה; מִמִּשְׁבְּצוֹת זָהָב לְבוּשָׁהּ ”
\n“All glorious (Light) is the king’s daughter (Malchut<\/a>, Shechina) WITHIN the palace; her raiment is of checkered work with gold”<\/p>\n

The Shechina is the aspect of the inner light and energy within the seven species. There is work to be done to get to it and enjoy it.<\/p>\n
