76. מֹשֶׁה אָמַר לָמָה הֲרֵעֹתָה, שֶׁנִּתְּנָה רְשׁוּת לַצַּד הָרָע לִשְׁלֹט עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל, לִהְיוֹת בַּשִּׁעְבּוּד שֶׁלּוֹ. דָּבָר אַחֵר לָמָה הֲרֵעֹתָה – שֶׁרָאָה כַּמָּה מֵהֶם שֶׁהָיוּ מֵתִים וְנִמְסְרוּ לַצַּד הָרָע.

Exodus 5:22<\/a>
\n“וַיָּשָׁב מֹשֶׁה אֶל יְהוָה וַיֹּאמַר אֲדֹנָי לָמָה הֲרֵעֹתָה לָעָם הַזֶּה לָמָּה זֶּה שְׁלַחְתָּנִי”
\n“Then Moses returned to YHVH<\/a> and said, “O Lord, why have You brought harm to these people? Why did You ever send me?”<\/p>\n

\nMoses complaint to God, saying “Why have you brought harm to the people?” because the other-side<\/a> had permission to enslave the Israelites<\/a>.
\nAnother meaning to this verse is that Moses saw that many of the Israelites<\/a> died and given to the other-side<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nWhen the Right side is awakened, it brings the good, happiness and blessings with it. It’s done in a concealed way like when Jacob assembled his children to give them blessings. They made unification with “Shema Israel<\/a>” and Jacob replied with “Baruch Shem…”.
\nGenesis 45:1<\/a>
\n“וְלֹא יָכֹל יוֹסֵף לְהִתְאַפֵּק לְכֹל הַנִּצָּבִים עָלָיו וַיִּקְרָא הוֹצִיאוּ כָל אִישׁ מֵעָלָי וְלֹא עָמַד אִישׁ אִתּוֹ בְּהִתְוַדַּע יוֹסֵף אֶל אֶחָיו.”
\n“Then Joseph<\/a> could not control himself before all those who stood by him, and he cried, “Have everyone go out from me.” So there was no man with him when Joseph<\/a> made himself known to his brothers.”<\/p>\n

Joseph<\/a> wanted to restore the unity with his brothers and before doing so and revealed himself to them, he sent away everyone around him except his brothers. He didn’t want anyone else to witness this unification that should be in a concealed way. <\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nJoseph<\/a> is the aspect of Yessod<\/a> and the funnel of all blessings and sustenance to the world.
\nDeuteronomy 28:8<\/a>
\n“יְצַו יְהוָה אִתְּךָ אֶת הַבְּרָכָה בַּאֲסָמֶיךָ וּבְכֹל מִשְׁלַח יָדֶךָ וּבֵרַכְךָ בָּאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לָךְ.”
\n“YHVH<\/a> will command the blessing upon you in your barns and in all that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land which YHVH<\/a> your God gives you.”
\nThe sages explain that ‘your barns’ are where we store what we have and it is concealed from other eyes. God gives blessings in a concealed way. Counting, and listing exactly what we have created limitation in Malchut<\/a> and blocks the blessing from coming to us. We should always keep the aspect of the unknown to keep opening for blessings.<\/p>\n

Psalms 31:20<\/a>
\n“מָה רַב טוּבְךָ אֲשֶׁר צָפַנְתָּ לִּירֵאֶיךָ פָּעַלְתָּ לַחֹסִים בָּךְ נֶגֶד בְּנֵי אָדָם.”
\nThe addition in parenthesis made by me to give proper meaning to the verse.
\n“How great is Your goodness, Which You have stored up (Concealed) for those who fear (Awe) You, Which You have wrought for those who take refuge in You (with trust and certainty) , Before (Opposite) the sons of men!”<\/p>\n

Those who have the faith<\/a> and certainty would always be protected and provided from the goodness that God stored up for them. <\/p>\n

After we say the Shema Israel<\/a> verse, we whisper “Baruch Shem…”. This is an important unification that we do to draw the higher light into our lives. The origin of “Baruch Shem” is described in the Talmud (Pesachim 26)
\nWhen Jacob was close to his death, he called his sons and wanted to tell them the future but the Shechina left him. He asked them if any of them is in the impure state (he assumed that the Shechina left him because of them) and they all answered together “Shema Israel<\/a>…” to express their oneness with YHVH<\/a>.
\n“שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ יְהוָה אֶחָד.”
\n“Hear, O Israel<\/a>! YHVH<\/a> is our God, YHVH<\/a> is one!”
\nIsrael<\/a> was the name given to Jacob by the angel and his children used it to tell their father ‘Hear O Israel<\/a>’, meaning listen to us. Then they made the unification of the three names YHVH<\/a> saying יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ, יְהוָה, YHVH<\/a>, ELOHENU, YHVH<\/a> is One!
\nHe replied to them “בָּרוּךְ שֵׁם כְּבוֹד מַלְכוּתוֹ לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד” “Blessed be the name of the glory of his kingdom forever and ever” to ‘lock’ the unification,<\/p>\n
