102. בֹּא רְאֵה, כְּמוֹ שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה יֵשׁ לְמַטָּה, כְּמוֹ שֶׁלְּמַטָּה יֵשׁ בַּיָּם. כְּמוֹ שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה יֵשׁ לְמַעְלָה בַּיָּם הָעֶלְיוֹן. כְּגוֹן שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה יֵשׁ לְמַטָּה. כְּגוֹן שֶׁלְּמַטָּה יֵשׁ בַּיָּם הַתַּחְתּוֹן.

Zohar Beshalach<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThe supernal<\/a> sea is Binah<\/a> and parallel to it is the lower sea that is Malchut<\/a>. The top three sefirot of Zeir Anpin<\/a>, Chessed<\/a>, Gevurah<\/a>, and Tiferet<\/a> connect to the sea of Binah<\/a> and they are parallel to the lower three of Zeir Anpin<\/a>, Netzach<\/a>, Hod<\/a>, and Yessod<\/a> that connect to Malchut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nThe upper sea has aspects of body parts like head, arms and body and everything is properly and proportionally made in the upper and lower seas. The ‘driving’ system of all levels requires a head, arms, and body. <\/p>\n

\nGenesis 49:13<\/a>
\n“זְבוּלֻן לְחוֹף יַמִּים יִשְׁכֹּן וְהוּא לְחוֹף אֳנִיֹּת וְיַרְכָתוֹ עַל צִידֹן.”
\n“Zebulun shall dwell by the shore of seas and become a harbor for ships; his border shall extend to Sidon.”
\nThe Zohar asks why it says ‘shore of seas’ in the plural and explains that on one side Zevulun was at the shore of Sidon (on the Mediterranean) and on the other side<\/a> on the shore of the Sea of Kinneret (Sea of Galilee<\/a>). <\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nEvery sefira is a vessel that holds Light comes to it from a higher level. That light is originated from the Endless light. To move the Light from one vessel to the other a ‘driving force’ is needed. It comes as a Tree of Life<\/a> on the Sefira level. Keter<\/a>, Chokmah<\/a> and Binah<\/a> of Binah<\/a> is considered the head of Binah<\/a> and so on in sets of three until the Light arrives at Malchut<\/a>. At that time, it activates the Keter<\/a> of the level below it or in other words, waking up the head of that level.
\nImagine a nursing mother<\/a> and a baby. The mother<\/a>’s milk has the aspect of Light that was received from the Yessod<\/a> of the level above it. The mother<\/a>’s breast is the aspect of the ‘sea’ of light of Binah<\/a>. The teats have the aspect of Yessod<\/a> of Binah<\/a>. The mouth of the baby is Malchut<\/a> of the head that is the upper three of the baby. He becomes the lower sea that nourishes the entire body.
\nEverything in existence is driven by the Light of the Endless using ‘אופנים’, ‘wheels’. That is why there is nothing inanimate in this world.
\nThe practical lesson for us is to always use our heads and move forward with actions. it something gets ‘stuck’ in the head, then there is no movement and the body is considered as ‘headless’. We should always move forward to draw the Light into our sea and get nourished. <\/p>\n
