\n89. אַף כָּאן, כֵּיוָן שֶׁאֶחָד הִקְדִּים וְנִמְצָא בְּבֵית הַכְּנֶסֶת, וּשְׁכִינָה בָּאָה וּמוֹצֵאת אוֹתוֹ, אָז נֶחְשָׁב כְּאִלּוּ כֻּלָּם נִמְצְאוּ שָׁם, שֶׁהֲרֵי זֶה הֶאֱרִיךְ לָהֶם שָׁם. מִיָּד מִתְחַבֶּרֶת עִמּוֹ שְׁכִינָה וְיוֹשְׁבִים בְּזִוּוּג אֶחָד, וְנוֹדָע עִמָּהּ, וּמוֹשִׁיבָה אוֹתוֹ בְּדַרְגַּת צַדִּיק. וְאִם אֶחָד לֹא מַקְדִּים וְלֹא נִמְצָא שָׁם, מַה כָּתוּב? \nWhen one comes early to the Synagogue for the prayers, the Shechina comes to see him. When one welcomes the Shechina it is considered as everyone is there. The Shechina connects to that person, puts him at the level of Tzadik and they get close together.
\nIf no one comes then as the verse above says; “Why, when I came, was no one (אִישׁ) there”. The verse doesn’t refer to ten people that is the required number of people for a Minyan. It says, ‘one person’ ‘אִישׁ’ and it means that the Shechina expects at least one person to make a connection and call that person a ‘Tzadik’.<\/p>\n

Moses was called ‘אִישׁ הָאֱלֹהִים’,’man of God’. We understand from this that anyone can make a connection with God and be called a Tzadik.
\nDeuteronomy 33:1<\/a>
\n“וְזֹאת הַבְּרָכָה אֲשֶׁר בֵּרַךְ מֹשֶׁה אִישׁ הָאֱלֹהִים אֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לִפְנֵי מוֹתוֹ.”
\n“Now this is the blessing with which Moses the man (אִישׁ) of God blessed the children of Israel<\/a> before his death.”<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nProper prayer is done in a group of at least ten men. The group establishes a complete connection to the Tree of Life<\/a> and draw the Light to our world. Men serve as channels for the Light, women are the aspect of a vessel that manifest the Light.
\nAs we study above, there are significant spiritual benefits when coming early to pray. Being called a ‘Tzadik’ by the Shechina means that the channel of Yessod<\/a> is open for the light that can manifests easily in a person’s life.
\nThe leader of the prayers is called ‘שליח ציבור’,’ representative of the congregation’. This person should one that is pure and knows the prayers and their meanings on a deeper level. Proper pronunciation of the prayers is important and having a good voice is secondary.
\nThe synagogue is the best place to pray and even without knowing the prayers, men and women can sit in their section and inject their personal prayers.
\nIf for any reason, it is not possible for a person to attend a Minyan for prayers, then it is good to have a picture at home of the ‘Kotel’ in Jerusalem<\/a>. 1 Kings 8:35<\/a> “pray toward this place (Holy Temple) and give praise to your name..”
\nAnother higher level of connection is to pray with a Tzadik, especially on their death anniversary, Hilulah day. We use the Tzadikim website to read about the Tzadik, light a candle and read Zohar for his honor, then pray to God with the support of the Tzadik.<\/p>\n
