Tikkun 25<\/strong> – 7<\/p>\n

We read in Genesis 1:2<\/a> “ וְהָאָרֶץ, הָיְתָה תֹהוּ וָבֹהוּ, וְחֹשֶׁךְ, עַל-פְּנֵי תְהוֹם; וְרוּחַ אֱלֹהִים, מְרַחֶפֶת עַל-פְּנֵי הַמָּיִם ”
\n“Now the earth was unformed and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters. ”<\/p>\n

Before God said “Let there be Light” in Genesis 1:3<\/a>, there was a state of darkness and void. The spirit of God, which is the life force, was waiting to connect and bring the ‘pulse’ of life to Creation.<\/p>\n

Lamentation 3:6<\/a>
\n“בְּמַחֲשַׁכִּים הוֹשִׁיבַנִי, כְּמֵתֵי עוֹלָם ”
\n“He made me dwell in dark places, as those that have been long dead. ”<\/p>\n

When in exile, the heart is sick from lacking the life force. The spirit that blows from the lungs into it the heart is not available to bring the life force through the veins to the whole body.
\nThis is a state of darkness and is considered as sleep dead (a state where only 1\/60 of the soul is in the body).
\nWhen the heart pulsates in a fast pace like in the Shofar<\/a> sound of Teruah<\/a>, the Redemption will come.<\/p>\n

The healers are the people who study and reveal the light of the Torah. They care about the sick heart but they can’t bring the pulse back until Moses come with the spirit of Mashiach and life returns to the heart.<\/p>\n

Lamentation 1:16<\/a>
\n“ עַל-אֵלֶּה אֲנִי בוֹכִיָּה, עֵינִי עֵינִי יֹרְדָה מַּיִם–כִּי-רָחַק מִמֶּנִּי מְנַחֵם, מֵשִׁיב נַפְשִׁי ”
\n“For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water; because the comforter is far from me, even he that should bring the soul back to me”<\/p>\n

When the light is far from the Shechina, which is the aspect of the heart beating inside of us, it weeps.<\/p>\n

\nThere is a beautiful story called ‘Ocean of Tears’ and song by Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach and it is based on the above verse from Lamentation 1:16<\/a>. In this video the song and story is performed beautifully by his Daughter, Neshama<\/a> Carlebach.
