Before we do blessing over the wine, the cup should be washed three times from the inside and three times from the outside. This is done to remove any spiritual negativity that may be attached to it. Skipping this process defines the cup as cup of poison.<\/p>\n

The woman is also the aspect of the cup of wine that should be pure to channel the blessings that is drawn with the spiritual connection. Only a pure vessel can channel the blessings from the light.<\/p>\n

The Friday night Kiddush is very important. It helps us connect to the light of Shabbat and before we do it, we sing the song from Proverbs 31:10<\/a>-31
\n“אֵשֶׁת-חַיִל, מִי יִמְצָא; וְרָחֹק מִפְּנִינִים מִכְרָהּ ”
\n“A woman of valor who can find? for her price is far above rubies. ”<\/p>\n

This song is about the female aspect of the Light that serves as a vessel to draw and hold the light. It praises the Shechina that is elevated on Shabbat to Binah<\/a> for unification with the light. A pure woman that is ready for Shabbat is also a key in drawing this light to be manifested for the whole family.<\/p>\n
