Zohar Ki Tisa<\/strong><\/p>\n

We continue the study of the Golden Calf and its creation process by the Erev Rav and their leaders, Yonos and Yimbrus. Start from previous studies of Ki Tisa to have a better understanding of this and the following studies.<\/p>\n

\nIn the book of Chanoch (or Book of Enoch, See note below) is says “Single child would be born to the the ‘head of white’ and when the people made from the flesh of donkeys they will cause him to make mistakes and put precious stones in golden bells without being aware of that. An image would be formed with the scriber ”
\nThe single child from the head of white is Aaron that was born from the line of Chessed<\/a> that its root is called ‘Head of White’. The Erev Rav are described as made out of Donkeys’ flesh. The golden bells are the bells on the garments of the High priest.
\nThe ‘Scriber’ is the tool used by Enosh, son of Seth, son of Adam to make magic and lead people away from YHVH<\/a>.
\nThe Erev Rav knew that they had to connect to the Right column<\/a> and draw Chassadim<\/a> through Aaron, in order to succeed with their plot to create the Golden Calf.
\nGold is the aspect of the Left and on Aaron, it used to draw holiness. The Erev Rav that is on the Left could connect to the Left (Gold aspect) of Aaron and draw Right\/Chessed<\/a> energy from him.<\/p>\n

\nEnosh led the world into idol worship by the drawings he made with his scriber. His scriber wrote letters and shapes that expressed visually but drew down spiritual forces.<\/p>\n

\nGod created parallel spiritual systems. The Holy one on the right side and the impure on the other side<\/a>. ‘סיטרא אחרא’ (Pronounced ‘Sitra Achra<\/a>’) literally means ‘other-side<\/a>’.
\nTo create the Golden Calf, the Erev Rav needed the Holy Side of Aaron and they came with their magic and confused him to follow their ‘script’ and create their living idol.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nThe Book of Chanoch is one of the external books, found together with the Dead Sea Scrolls. It wasn’t included in the Bible because it wasn’t considered as sacred but Rabbi Shimon quotes it in the Zohar.

\nGenesis 4:26<\/a>
\n“וּלְשֵׁת גַּם הוּא יֻלַּד בֵּן וַיִּקְרָא אֶת שְׁמוֹ אֱנוֹשׁ אָז הוּחַל לִקְרֹא בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה.”
\n“And as for Seth, to him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on the name of YHVH<\/a>.”
\nEnosh and his generation were on a very high spiritual level and could control the physical world by using the YHVH<\/a> name but it was for selfish reasons. They were called the wicked generation of Enosh.<\/p>\n

The leaders of the Erev Rav knew the wisdom of magic that came from the generation of Enosh. They needed the connection to the YHVH<\/a> name that was in the hands of Aaron.<\/p>\n
