97. וּכְשֶׁהִתְבּוֹנֵן דָּוִד הַמֶּלֶךְ בְּדִינֵי הָאָדָם הַלָּלוּ, הִקְדִּים וְאָמַר, (תהלים קד) בָּרְכִי נַפְשִׁי אֶת ה’, בְּטֶרֶם תֵּצֵא מִן הָעוֹלָם, בְּעוֹד שֶׁאַתְּ נִמְצֵאת עִם הַגּוּף. וְכָל קְרָבַי אֶת שֵׁם קָדְשׁוֹ – הֵם אֶבְרֵי הַגּוּף שֶׁמִּשְׁתַּתְּפִים כְּאֶחָד עִם הָרוּחַ. עַכְשָׁו כְּשֶׁתִּמָּצְאוּ עִמָּהּ, הַקְדִּימוּ לְבָרֵךְ אֶת הַשֵּׁם הַקָּדוֹשׁ טֶרֶם שֶׁיָּבֹא זְמַן שֶׁלֹּא תוּכְלוּ לְבָרֵךְ וְלַחֲזֹר בִּתְשׁוּבָה. וְעַל זֶה אָמַר בָּרְכִי נַפְשִׁי אֶת ה’ הַלְלוּיָהּ. בָּאוּ אוֹתָם הַחֲבֵרִים וְנָשְׁקוּ אֶת רֹאשׁוֹ.

\n“בָּרְכִי נַפְשִׁי אֶת יְהוָה יְהוָה אֱלֹהַי גָּדַלְתָּ מְּאֹד הוֹד וְהָדָר לָבָשְׁתָּ.”
\n“Bless YHVH<\/a>, O my soul! O YHVH<\/a> my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty,”
\nPsalms 103:1<\/a>
\n“לְדָוִד בָּרֲכִי נַפְשִׁי אֶת יְהוָה וְכָל קְרָבַי אֶת שֵׁם קָדְשׁוֹ.”
\n“Bless YHVH<\/a>, O my soul; And all organs within me, bless His holy name!”
\nKing David tells his soul and all his body parts to bless YHVH<\/a> before the soul departs from the body. When the soul leaves the body there are no more opportunities to bless YHVH<\/a> and make corrections.<\/p>\n

\nExodus 35:5<\/a>
\n“קְחוּ מֵאִתְּכֶם תְּרוּמָה לַיהוָה כֹּל נְדִיב לִבּוֹ יְבִיאֶהָ אֵת תְּרוּמַת יְהוָה זָהָב וָכֶסֶף וּנְחֹשֶׁת.”
\n‘Take from among you an offering to YHVH<\/a>. Whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it as an offering to YHVH<\/a>: gold, silver, and bronze;”
\nRabbi Chiya quotes this verse and explains that when God created the world, it was for the Israelites<\/a> that will come and receive the Torah.
\nJeremiah 33:25<\/a>
\n“כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה אִם לֹא בְרִיתִי יוֹמָם וָלָיְלָה חֻקּוֹת שָׁמַיִם וָאָרֶץ לֹא שָׂמְתִּי.”
\n“Thus says YHVH<\/a>: ‘If My covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth,”<\/p>\n

The Torah gives long life in this world and in the next world.<\/p>\n

\nThose who make efforts to study Torah in this world, it is like they study in the supernal<\/a> palace of the Holy One Blessed be He that listens to them. These people are saved from three judgments; one is a judgment from this world, second is from the judgment of the angel of death<\/a>, and from the judgment of hell.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nKing David teaches us to follow God with our soul and actions so we can purify our body and tune it to the Light.
\nRabbi Chiya continues on the same path and tells us to share our energy and give from our hearts. Then the Zohar tells us to study Torah so the Holy One listens to us and protects us from the judgments of this world. <\/p>\n

The Torah is the words of God and when we study it we reveal and activate the Light that created the sacred words of the Torah. Since the Torah is Life, the studies protect our lives.<\/p>\n
