94. אֲבָל דָּבָר נָאֶה הוּא, אֵל בְּכָל מָקוֹם זֶהוּ אוֹר (רַב) הַחָכְמָה הָעֶלְיוֹנָה, וְעוֹמֵד בְּקִיּוּמוֹ בְּכָל יוֹם, שֶׁכָּתוּב (תהלים נו) חֶסֶד אֵל כָּל הַיּוֹם. וְאִלְמָלֵא שֶׁאֵל הַזֶּה מִתְעוֹרֵר בָּעוֹלָם, לֹא יָכוֹל הָעוֹלָם לַעֲמֹד אֲפִלּוּ שָׁעָה אַחַת מִלִּפְנֵי הַדִּינִים הַקָּשִׁים שֶׁמִּתְעוֹרְרִים בָּעוֹלָם בְּכָל יוֹם. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (בראשית ב) אֵלֶּה תוֹלְדוֹת הַשָּׁמַיִם וְהָאָרֶץ בְּהִבָּרְאָם, אַל תִּקְרֵי בְּהִבָּרְאָם אֶלָּא בְּאַבְרָהָם, בַּהִתְעוֹרְרוּת שֶׁל אַבְרָהָם עוֹמְדִים, וּכְשֶׁמִּתְעוֹרֵר אַבְרָהָם בָּעוֹלָם, כָּל אוֹתָם הַדִּינִים שֶׁנִּמְצָאִים בְּכָל יוֹם וָיוֹם, הוּא דּוֹחֶה אוֹתָם הַחוּצָה וְלֹא עוֹמְדִים לְפָנָיו.
\n95. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב וְאֵל זֹעֵם בְּכָל יוֹם. נִזְעָם אוֹ זָעוּם בְּכָל יוֹם לֹא כָתוּב, אֶלָּא זוֹעֵם. בְּכָל יוֹם וָיוֹם שֶׁנִּמְצָא דִין, דּוֹחֶה אוֹתָם הַחוּצָה, וְהוּא עוֹמֵד וּמְבַשֵּׂם אֶת הָעוֹלָם. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (תהלים מב) יוֹמָם יְצַוֶּה ה’ חַסְדּוֹ. וְאִלְמָלֵא זֶה, לֹא יָכוֹל הָעוֹלָם לַעֲמֹד אֲפִלּוּ רֶגַע אֶחָד. וְלָכֵן הַכֹּל עוֹמֵד מִשּׁוּם אַבְרָהָם.
\n96. וְזֶה שֶׁכָּתוּב אֵל גִּבּוֹר. לֹא שֶׁהוּא גִּבּוֹר, אֶלָּא הַפָּסוּק הַזֶּה רֶמֶז הוּא שֶׁרוֹמֵז לָאָבוֹת, וְרֶמֶז הוּא שֶׁרוֹמֵז לָאֱמוּנָה הָעֶלְיוֹנָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה, שֶׁכָּתוּב פֶּלֶא יוֹעֵץ אֵל גִּבּוֹר אֲבִי עַד שַׂר שָׁלוֹם. פֶּלֶא – זוֹ הַחָכְמָה הָעֶלְיוֹנָה שֶׁמֻּפְלָאָה וּמְכֻסֵּית מֵהַכֹּל, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (דברים יז) כִּי יִפָּלֵא מִמְּךָ דָבָר. יוֹעֵץ – זֶהוּ נָהָר עֶלְיוֹן שֶׁשּׁוֹפֵעַ וְיוֹצֵא וְלֹא פוֹסֵק. וְזֶה יוֹעֵץ לַכֹּל וּמַשְׁקֶה אֶת הַכֹּל. אֵל – זֶה אַבְרָהָם, כְּמוֹ שֶׁבֵּאַרְנוּ הָאֵל הַגָּדוֹל. גִּבּוֹר – זֶה יִצְחָק, שֶׁכָּתוּב הַגִּבּוֹר. אֲבִי עַד – זֶה יַעֲקֹב, שֶׁאוֹחֵז בַּצַּד הַזֶּה וּבַצַּד הַזֶּה וְעוֹמֵד בְּקִיּוּם שָׁלֵם. שַׂר שָׁלוֹם – זֶה צַדִּיק, שֶׁהוּא הַשָּׁלוֹם שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם, שְׁלוֹם הַבַּיִת, שְׁלוֹם הַגְּבִירָה.<\/div>\n

Zohar Tzav<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThe Zohar brings another explanation and says that אֵל is the Light of Chokmah<\/a> revealed in Chessed<\/a>. This light exists every day as it says;
\nPsalms 52:3<\/a>
\n“מַה תִּתְהַלֵּל בְּרָעָה הַגִּבּוֹר חֶסֶד אֵל כָּל הַיּוֹם.”
\n“Why do you boast of evil, O mighty man? The steadfast love (Chessed<\/a>) of God (אֵל) endures all day.”<\/p>\n

Without the continuous presence of Chessed<\/a>, the world won’t be able to hold even for one hour because of the harsh judgments that arise in the world every day.
\nGenesis 2:4<\/a>
\n“אֵלֶּה תוֹלְדוֹת הַשָּׁמַיִם וְהָאָרֶץ בְּהִבָּרְאָם בְּיוֹם עֲשׂוֹת יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים אֶרֶץ וְשָׁמָיִם.”
\n“This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that YHVH<\/a> God made the earth and the heavens,”
\nThe word ‘בְּהִבָּרְאָם’ ‘when they were created’ has the letters ‘אברהם’, ‘Abraham’ and the Zohar tells us to read the verse as ‘‘when they were created for Abraham’. Abraham is the chariot<\/a> of Chessed<\/a> and we understand from the verse that the world was created with Chessed<\/a> to push away judgments.<\/p>\n

\nIt says “God אל is angry every day”, not ‘getting angry everyday’ to tell us that the anger that is judgments exists every day and because of Abraham that is the chariot<\/a> for the Light of Chessed<\/a>, the world maintains its existence. <\/p>\n

Psalms 42:9<\/a>
\n“יוֹמָם יְצַוֶּה יְהוָה חַסְדּוֹ וּבַלַּיְלָה שִׁירוֹ עִמִּי תְּפִלָּה לְאֵל חַיָּי.”
\n“YHVH<\/a> will command His lovingkindness (Chessed<\/a>) in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me— A prayer to the God (אֵל) of my life.”<\/p>\n

\nThe Zohar explains that ‘Mighty God (אֵל)’ refers to the patriarchs that are the chariots for Chessed<\/a>, Gevurah<\/a>, and Tiferet<\/a>. They connect to Binah<\/a> as we understand from the verse;
\nIsaiah 9:5<\/a>
\n“ וַיִּקְרָא שְׁמוֹ פֶּלֶא יוֹעֵץ אֵל גִּבּוֹר אֲבִי עַד שַׂר שָׁלוֹם…”
\n“… And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God (אֵל), Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
\n‘Wonderful’ is the supernal<\/a> wisdom, Chokmah<\/a>. ‘Counselor’ is Binah<\/a> that is the supernal<\/a> river that continuously nourishes all levels below.
\n‘God (אֵל)’ is for Abraham, Chessed<\/a>. ‘Mighty גִּבּוֹר’ is for Isaac. ‘Everlasting Father אֲבִי עַד’ is for Jacob that holds the Right and the Left and brings balance. ‘Prince of Peace שַׂר שָׁלוֹם’ is the righteous, Yessod<\/a> that brings the peace from above to Malchut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nThe choice for us is simple. We act with Chessed<\/a> to connect to the Prince of Peace and not the ‘Angry God’.<\/p>\n
