\nExodus 7:17<\/a>
\n“כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה בְּזֹאת תֵּדַע כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי מַכֶּה בַּמַּטֶּה אֲשֶׁר בְּיָדִי עַל הַמַּיִם אֲשֶׁר בַּיְאֹר וְנֶהֶפְכוּ לְדָם.”
\n“Thus says YHVH<\/a>: “By this (זֹאת) you shall know that I am YHVH<\/a>. Behold, I will strike the waters which are in the river with the rod that is in my hand, and they shall be turned to blood.”<\/p>\n

Moses delivered this message to Pharaoh, telling him ‘By This’, meaning that by the judgment of Malchut<\/a> he will experience the plague of ‘Blood’ that will come upon Egypt.
\nPreviously we learned that ‘This is the (pure) animal’ direct the Israelites<\/a> to eat from the pure animal to avoid judgments in Malchut<\/a>.
\nPharaoh was warned to follow the request from YHVH<\/a> because otherwise the judgment from Malchut<\/a> would be executed on him and his people.
\nWe learned that the soul level of Nefesh<\/a> is drawn from Malchut<\/a> and the Ruach<\/a> from Zeir Anpin<\/a>. If we keep the soul in purity then Malchut<\/a> supports us. If we draw impurity then Malchut<\/a> would reacts with judgments to correct the ‘damage’.<\/p>\n

\nLeviticus 11:3<\/a>
\n“כֹּל מַפְרֶסֶת פַּרְסָה וְשֹׁסַעַת שֶׁסַע פְּרָסֹת מַעֲלַת גֵּרָה בַּבְּהֵמָה אֹתָהּ תֹּאכֵלוּ.”
\n“Among the animals, whatever divides the hoof, having cloven hooves and chewing the cud—that you may eat”<\/p>\n

Rabbi Elazar tells us that the Torah gives us signs to distinguish between pure and impure animals so we can keep our souls in purity.<\/p>\n

\nRabbi Shimon says that like we have the Ten Sefirot that connect us to the pure system, so there are Ten Sefirot that connect to witchcraft and the impure system in the lower level.
\nThe Torah allowed us to eat animals from the holy side and forbids us the animals from the impure side.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nThe sages gave us greater details about the process of eating the pure animals and maximizing the connection.
\nThere are souls that incarnate in pure and impure animals. The souls in the pure animals need a proper process of slaughtering to release the souls from the animal. It will give them proper elevation to the next and higher type or incarnation. The Shochet (the person who is specialized in laughtering) starts with special blessings. He uses a special sharp knife that is very smooth. If the knife has even a tiny nick then it is forbidden from use because nicks would create multiple judgments.
\nIn addition to the type of animal, we are not allowed to eat the blood of the animal because it holds the soul level of Nefesh<\/a> of the animal. We don’t want to connect to the ‘tikun<\/a>’ process of the soul that was in the animal’s blood. For that reason the Liver must have a special cooking process. It must be roasted in a way that allows the dripping (blood and soul energy of the animal) to be separated from the liver.
\nWe can find many sources online related to Kosher eating and cooking.
\nMany Tzadikim in our generation are mostly vegetarians or pescetarians. If they choose to eat animal meat on special holidays and occasions then they certify the Shochet by themselves. They do not trust commercial slaughtering.<\/p>\n
