80. עוֹד פָּתַח בְּנוֹ אַחֵר וְאָמַר, (בראשית ב) וַיִּיצֶר ה’ אֱלֹהִים אֶת הָאָדָם עָפָר מִן הָאֲדָמָה וְגוֹ’. וַיִּיצֶר ה’ אֱלֹהִים, בִּשְׁנֵי יוֹדִי”ם, בִּשְׁנֵי יְצָרִים, יֵצֶר טוֹב וְיֵצֶר רָע, אֶחָד כְּנֶגֶד מַיִם וְאֶחָד כְּנֶגֶד אֵשׁ. ה’ אֱלֹהִים – שֵׁם מָלֵא. אֶת הָאָדָם – כּוֹלֵל זָכָר וּנְקֵבָה. עָפָר מִן הָאֲדָמָה – זֶה עֲפַר הָאָרֶץ הַקְּדוֹשָׁה, שֶׁמִּשָּׁם נִבְרָא, וְהוּא מְקוֹם בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ.
\n81. וַיִּפַּח בְּאַפָּיו נִשְׁמַת חַיִּים – זוֹ הַנְּשָׁמָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה שֶׁנִּמְשֶׁכֶת מֵאוֹתָם הַחַיִּים שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה. וַיְהִי הָאָדָם לְנֶפֶשׁ חַיָּה, אָדָם נִכְלָל בַּנֶּפֶשׁ הַקְּדוֹשָׁה, מֵהַחַיָּה הָעֶלְיוֹנָה שֶׁהוֹצִיאָה הָאָרֶץ, שֶׁכָּתוּב (שם א) תּוֹצֵא הָאָרֶץ נֶפֶשׁ חַיָּה, הַנֶּפֶשׁ שֶׁל הַחַיָּה הָעֶלְיוֹנָה הַהִיא.
\n82. בֹּא רְאֵה, בְּכָל זְמַן שֶׁהַנְּשָׁמָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה הַזּוֹ נִדְבֶּקֶת בָּאָדָם, אֲהוּב רִבּוֹנוֹ הוּא. כַּמָּה שׁוֹמְרִים שׁוֹמְרִים אוֹתוֹ מִכָּל הַצְּדָדִים, רָשׁוּם הוּא לְטוֹב, לְמַעְלָה וּלְמַטָּה, וְהַשְּׁכִינָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה שׁוֹרָה עָלָיו.
\n83. וּבִזְמַן שֶׁהוּא מַסְטֶה אֶת דַּרְכּוֹ, הַשְּׁכִינָה מִסְתַּלֶּקֶת מִמֶּנּוּ, וְהַנְּשָׁמָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה לֹא נִדְבֶּקֶת בּוֹ. וּמִצַּד הַנָּחָשׁ הָרָע הַתַּקִּיף מִתְעוֹרֶרֶת רוּחַ אַחַת שֶׁמְּשׁוֹטֶטֶת וְהוֹלֶכֶת בָּעוֹלָם, שֶׁלֹּא שׁוֹרָה אֶלָּא בְּמָקוֹם שֶׁהַקְּדֻשָּׁה הָעֶלְיוֹנָה הִסְתַּלְּקָה מִשָּׁם, וְאָז הָאִישׁ נִטְמָא, וְנִפְגָּם בִּבְשָׂרוֹ בְּמַרְאֵה פָנָיו בַּכֹּל.<\/div>\n

Zohar Tazria<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nGenesis 2:7<\/a>
\n“וַיִּיצֶר יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים אֶת-הָאָדָם, עָפָר מִן-הָאֲדָמָה, וַיִּפַּח בְּאַפָּיו, נִשְׁמַת חַיִּים; וַיְהִי הָאָדָם, לְנֶפֶשׁ חַיָּה”
\n“Then YHVH<\/a> God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being.”<\/p>\n

The word ‘formed’ in Hebrew ‘וַיִּיצֶר’ is written with ‘יי’ two Yods when the normal way to write this word is with just one Yod. The Zohar explains that it tells us that we were ‘formed’ with ‘יֵצֶר טוֹב’ good inclination that is the aspect of water and with ‘יֵצֶר רָע’ bad inclination that is the aspect of Fire. Good and bad inclination starts with the letter Yod.
\n‘YHVH<\/a> God’, ‘יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים’, two names of God to represent the Right and Left columns. The first man, Adam, was created with one side male and on the other side<\/a> a female attached to his back. His body was formed from the soil of the earth, taken from the place where the Holy Temple would be built. <\/p>\n

\n‘and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life’ is the holy soul of Adam that came from the source of life above.
\n‘And man became a living being’ tells us that his soul was included from the level of Nefesh<\/a> that comes from Binah<\/a> and connects to Life in the world of Malchut<\/a>.
\nGenesis 1:24<\/a>
\n“וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים תּוֹצֵא הָאָרֶץ נֶפֶשׁ חַיָּה לְמִינָהּ בְּהֵמָה וָרֶמֶשׂ וְחַיְתוֹ אֶרֶץ לְמִינָהּ וַיְהִי כֵן.”
\n“Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures (‘נֶפֶשׁ חַיָּה’) after their kind: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth after their kind”; and it was so.”<\/p>\n

\nThe Holy One Blessed be He loves the person that the holy soul is bonded in him. He gets protection from angels and the Shechina stay close to him.<\/p>\n

\nWhen a person leaves the righteous path, the Shechina, the Holy soul, and his protectors leave him. The evil Snake<\/a> is attracted to the vacant space and comes to dwell in it. That person gets impured in his body and his face changes to reflect his impure state.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nWe have a dual ‘system’ that is unstable until we form the third state of balance.
\nLight and vessel. A vessel without Light has darkness. The balance comes when we grow the vessel to have more Light.
\nSoul and body. Without a pure soul, the body falls into ‘decay’ and darkness. The soul and body should cooperate and support each other.
\nRight and Left. Should be unified for balance.
\nPurity and impurity. Purity overcomes impurity. If the opposite is true then impurity attracts chaos. The balance is when we stay pure and push away the other side<\/a>.
\nDesire to receive and desire to share. The latter should be greater than the first to have a continuous flow of light that nourishes us.
\nMale and female. A male without a female cannot bring life to the world. The balance in unification to bring life and Light to the world.
\nThe most significant pair is the Israelites<\/a> and the Torah. The Torah was given to the Israelites<\/a> as a connection tool to YHVH<\/a>. The sages say that Israel<\/a> and Torah are one. Without the Torah, we are separated from the source of Light and life that is YHVH<\/a>. <\/p>\n
