89. כָּתוּב (תהלים קמא) אַל תַּט לִבִּי לְדָבָר רָע לְהִתְעוֹלֵל עֲלִלוֹת בְּרֶשַׁע. מִכָּאן שָׁנִינוּ, בְּדֶרֶךְ שֶׁבָּהּ רוֹצֶה אָדָם לָלֶכֶת, בָּהּ מַנְהִיגִים אוֹתוֹ. אָמַר רַבִּי יִצְחָק, הַפָּסוּק הַזֶּה קָשֶׁה, וְכִי הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא מַסְטֶה אֶת הָאָדָם לָלֶכֶת בְּדֶרֶךְ שֶׁל חֵטְא וְלַעֲשׂוֹת מַעֲשִׂים רָעִים? אִם כָּךְ, אֵין דִּין בְּזֶה הָעוֹלָם וְלֹא בָּעוֹלָם הַבָּא, וְהַתּוֹרָה לֹא מְתֻקֶּנֶת, שֶׁכָּתוּב בָּהּ אִם תִּשְׁמַע וְאִם לֹא תִשְׁמַע!

\nPsalms 141:4<\/a>
\n“אַל תַּט לִבִּי לְדָבָר רָע לְהִתְעוֹלֵל עֲלִלוֹת בְּרֶשַׁע אֶת אִישִׁים פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן וּבַל אֶלְחַם בְּמַנְעַמֵּיהֶם.”
\n“Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, To practice wicked works With men who work iniquity; And do not let me eat of their delicacies.”<\/p>\n

Rabbi Yitzchak says that we learn from this that the Holy One Blessed be He can influence us to follow a sinful path and act against the ways of the Torah. This can lead us to the thought that there is no judgment in this world or the world to come but the Torah also tells us Exodus 15:26<\/a>
\n“וַיֹּאמֶר אִם שָׁמוֹעַ תִּשְׁמַע לְקוֹל יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ וְהַיָּשָׁר בְּעֵינָיו תַּעֲשֶׂה וְהַאֲזַנְתָּ לְמִצְו‍ֹתָיו וְשָׁמַרְתָּ כָּל חֻקָּיו כָּל הַמַּחֲלָה אֲשֶׁר שַׂמְתִּי בְמִצְרַיִם לֹא אָשִׂים עָלֶיךָ כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה רֹפְאֶךָ.”
\n“and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of YHVH<\/a> your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am YHVH<\/a> who heals you.”<\/p>\n

Deuteronomy 28:15<\/a>
\n“וְהָיָה אִם לֹא תִשְׁמַע בְּקוֹל יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ לִשְׁמֹר לַעֲשׂוֹת אֶת כָּל מִצְו‍ֹתָיו וְחֻקֹּתָיו אֲשֶׁר אָנֹכִי מְצַוְּךָ הַיּוֹם וּבָאוּ עָלֶיךָ כָּל הַקְּלָלוֹת הָאֵלֶּה וְהִשִּׂיגוּךָ.”
\n“But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of YHVH<\/a> your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:”
\nWe see above that the Torah clearly defines the outcome for following the path that we choose.<\/p>\n

\nDeuteronomy 4:39<\/a>
\n“וְיָדַעְתָּ הַיּוֹם וַהֲשֵׁבֹתָ אֶל לְבָבֶךָ כִּי יְהוָה הוּא הָאֱלֹהִים בַּשָּׁמַיִם מִמַּעַל וְעַל הָאָרֶץ מִתָּחַת אֵין עוֹד.”
\n“Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that YHVH<\/a> Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.”<\/p>\n

The Torah teaches us to take responsibility for our actions and guides our hearts to the truth.
\nKing David warns his heart ‘Do not incline my heart to any evil thing’ so he can stay on the righteous path and avoid leprosy.<\/p>\n

\nLeviticus 13:9<\/a>
\n“נֶגַע צָרַעַת כִּי תִהְיֶה בְּאָדָם וְהוּבָא אֶל הַכֹּהֵן.”
\n“When the leprous sore is on a person (Man, Adam), then he shall be brought to the priest.”<\/p>\n

Leprosy is an affliction that blocks the Light from the upper three sefirot to come to the seven lower sefirot. The top of the seven is Chessed<\/a>, Gevurah<\/a> and Tiferet<\/a>. They represent the Patriarchs, Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. Netzach<\/a> Hod<\/a> and Yessod<\/a> is the aspect of the children. Rabbi Yossi says that the light is blocked above and it doesn’t come to the fathers. Because of that, the children cannot receive nourishment.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nThe Torah tells us ‘Know this day’ and bring into our hearts that YHVH<\/a> is God in heavens and on earth, there are no others.
\nThe Torah uses ‘this day’ so we can practice this consciousness every day.<\/p>\n

I am happy to study the Daily Zohar every day. It expands my heart to the understanding and love that you are all sparks of Light with roots in YHVH<\/a> because there is no other but him.<\/p>\n
