95. וְאוֹתוֹ תִּינוֹק בְּנוֹ עוֹמֵד כָּל יוֹם לִפְנֵי בְצַלְאֵל בְּשָׁעָה שֶׁיּוֹרֵד מֵהַיְשִׁיבָה הָעֶלְיוֹנָה, וְאוֹמֵר לְפָנָיו שְׁלֹשָׁה דְבָרִים, עַד שֶׁלֹּא יִפְתַּח בְּצַלְאֵל בְּסוֹדוֹת סְתוּמִים שֶׁל הַחָכְמָה, שֶׁכָּל דְּבָרָיו סוֹדוֹת סְתוּמִים הֵם, (ישעיה סד) שֶׁעַיִן לֹא רָאָתָה אֱלֹהִים זוּלָתְךָ. \nThe child stands every day in front of Bezalel as he comes down from the supernal<\/a> Yeshiva<\/a> and before he starts with concealed secrets, the child tells him three things;
\n‘Whoever stops, shall be stopped’ – whoever stops the study of Torah for useless things, is judged to have his life stopped in this world.
\n‘Whoever shortens, shall be shortened’ – whoever shortens the saying of ‘Amen’, his life is shortened in this world.
\n‘Whoever shortens, shall be prolonged’ – Whoever shortens the saying of Alef of the word ‘Echad’ of the Shema Israel<\/a>, prolongs his life.<\/p>\n

\nHe further said: ‘They are two and one joins them’. The three are one. The two יהוה names YHVH<\/a>, YHVH<\/a> and “אלהינו” “Our Elohim” that joins them make the seal of ‘אמת’, ‘Truth’. The unification is expressed in the word ‘אחד’ ‘Echad’.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nThe study of Torah is a connection to the Tree of Life<\/a> and interrupting it for useless things, cuts the flow of life, and that energy is ‘wasted’. If for some unexpected reason, one needs to redirect his attention to something important then he better complete the section of his study and have the consciousness that he is coming back to the study soon or the next time he scheduled time for study. It’s better to ignore useless issues until after the study. It’s better to ignore phone calls until after the study.<\/p>\n

When we answer ‘Amen’ to a blessing, we should say it properly not short like ‘Ame-’ or ‘-men’. Amen represents the unification of Zeir Anpin<\/a> and Malchut<\/a>. The numerical value of the word ‘Amen’ and the two names ‘יא-הד-ונ-הי’ is 91, same as the word ‘מלאך’,’Angel’. If we shorten the word, we lose the connection to the ‘Angel’ that connects the light of the blessing or Kadish to us.
\nThe sixth word of the Shema is ‘אחד’. It means ‘One’, pronounced ‘Echad’. The ‘א’, Alef represents the upper level, Keter<\/a> and the ‘ד’ Dalet, the lower, Malchut<\/a>. The ‘ח’ in the middle represents the unification. The Alef should be ‘shortened’ to initiate the connection to the upper level and say the Dalet longer to bond the Light to Malchut<\/a>.<\/p>\n
