אָמַר לוֹ: בְּנִי, יָפֶה אָמַרְתָּ, אֲבָל זֶה לֹא לְשַׁבֵּחַ אֶת עַצְמוֹ, אֶלָּא כָּל סְפִירָה וּסְפִירָה נִקְרֵאת רֹאשׁ לַחֲבֶרְתָּהּ, וּכְדֵי לְהוֹדִיעַ לָהֶם מֵאֵיזֶה מָקוֹם הוֹצִיא אוֹתָם מִתּוֹךְ הַשִּׁעְבּוּד, פָּתַח בְּאָנֹכִי, וְהִזְכִּיר אֲשֶׁר הוֹצֵאתִיךָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם וְגוֹמֵר חֲמִשִּׁים פְּעָמִים, כְּנֶגֶד חֲמִשִּׁים שַׁעֲרֵי בִינָה.<\/p>\n

Rabbi Elazar, the son of Rabbi Shimon, asked his father, It said “I am YHVH<\/a> your (singular form) God who brought you (singular) out of …”, so the blessing should be in singular, “who has sanctify me and commanded me” and not “Sanctify us and commanded us”, which are plural form.<\/p>\n

Rabbi Shimon answered that every Sefira is the head of the one that follows. The light from the singular source of Keter<\/a> comes down through the right and left columns and join together as one in Malchut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When we say the blessings in plural form we bring the right and left together in unity and the light is revealed.<\/p>\n
