Tikkun 40<\/strong> – 4
\nOn the second day of Creation God separated between the waters of the left column<\/a> and the waters of the right column<\/a>. Each of them wanted to have dominance over the other.<\/p>\n

The waters were balanced on the third day when God established the central column and ordered the waters to gather into one place. Genesis 1:9<\/a> “יִקָּווּ הַמַּיִם מִתַּחַת הַשָּׁמַיִם אֶל-מָקוֹם אֶחָד”
\n“’Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place”<\/p>\n

The Zohar brings the story of Rachel and Lea as a similar example of bringing the central column for balance.
\nAs the first in line for marriage, Lea wanted to marry Jacob. Rachel knew that Jacob wanted to marry her.
\nLea represented the level of Binah<\/a> and the upper letter Heh. Rachel represented Malchut<\/a> and the lower letter Heh.<\/p>\n

God gave them the opportunity to connect to Jacob. When he united with both of them Jacob brought the balance of the Central Column and became the aspect of the letter Vav of the YHVH<\/a> name.<\/p>\n
