224. רַבִּי אַבָּא פָּתַח, (שיר השירים א) אִם לֹא תֵדְעִי לָךְ הַיָּפָה בַּנָּשִׁים צְאִי לָךְ בְּעִקְבֵי הַצֹּאן. כְּנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל אוֹמֶרֶת לִפְנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ הָעֶלְיוֹן. כְּנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל, מַה זֶּה כְּנֶסֶת? זוֹהִי עֲצֶרֶת הִתְכַּנְּסוּת, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (במדבר י) מְאַסֵּף לְכָל הַמַּחֲנוֹת. מִי שֶׁמְּכַנֵּס כָּל הַמַּחֲנוֹת הָעֶלְיוֹנִים אֵלָיו.
\n225. וּמִתּוֹךְ שֶׁלִּפְעָמִים הַשְּׁכִינָה נִקְרֵאת נְקֵבָה, וְנֶאֱמַר עֲצֶרֶת, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (בראשית כ) כִּי עָצוֹר עָצַר ה’, שֶׁמַּחֲזִיק וְלֹא נוֹתֵן – כָּךְ זֶה וַדַּאי, שֶׁהֲרֵי מִתּוֹךְ אֱמוּנָה רַבָּה שֶׁלָּהּ שֶׁלֹּא נִמְצָא בָּהּ מוּם (מֹחַ), נוֹתְנִים לָהּ לְלֹא עִכּוּב כְּלָל. וְהִיא, כְּשֶׁבָּאָה אֵלֶיהָ, כָּל מַה שֶּׁכּוֹנֶסֶת עָצַר וּמְעַצֵּר וּמְעַכֶּבֶת, שֶׁלֹּא יוֹרֵד וּמֵאִיר אֶלָּא כְּפִי הַטַּל, טִפִּין טִפִּין, מְעַט מְעַט. מָה הַטַּעַם? מִשּׁוּם שֶׁלֹּא נִמְצֵאת לְמַטָּה אֱמוּנָה, אֶלָּא כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (ישעיה כח) זְעֵיר שָׁם זְעֵיר שָׁם. זְכוּת קְטַנָּה וְהֶאָרַת טַל קְטַנָּה, מִדָּה כְּנֶגֶד מִדָּה.<\/div>\n

\n“אִם לֹא תֵדְעִי לָךְ הַיָּפָה בַּנָּשִׁים צְאִי לָךְ בְּעִקְבֵי הַצֹּאן וּרְעִי אֶת גְּדִיֹּתַיִךְ עַל מִשְׁכְּנוֹת הָרֹעִים.”
\n“If you do not know, O fairest among women, Follow in the footsteps of the flock, And feed your little goats Beside the shepherds’ tents.”
\nNumbers 10:25<\/a> “מְאַסֵּף לְכָל הַמַּחֲנֹת” “rearward of all the camps”
\nRabbi Aba quotes the above verses and explains that the ‘fairest among women’ is Malchut<\/a> that is also called the ‘Congregation of Israel<\/a>’, and the Shechina. She is the ‘gatherer’ at the rear and receives from ‘all the camps’ that are the first nine sefirot.<\/p>\n

\nThe Shechina is female and represents the complete faith<\/a>. She is flawless and receives from above without limitations. When in Malchut<\/a> that has a lack of faith<\/a>, the light is released in a measured way. As it says “Here a little, there a little” in Isaiah 28:13<\/a>
\n“וְהָיָה לָהֶם דְּבַר יְהוָה צַו לָצָו צַו לָצָו קַו לָקָו קַו לָקָו זְעֵיר שָׁם זְעֵיר שָׁם לְמַעַן יֵלְכוּ וְכָשְׁלוּ אָחוֹר וְנִשְׁבָּרוּ וְנוֹקְשׁוּ וְנִלְכָּדוּ.”
\n“But the word of YHVH<\/a> was to them, “Precept upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, Here a little, there a little,” That they might go and fall backward, and be broken And snared and caught.”<\/p>\n

\nMalchut<\/a> has no light of its own and Hashem<\/a> gave us the Torah as a guide to create vessels and draw light from his endless source of Binah<\/a>.<\/p>\n
