Zohar Ha’azinu<\/strong><\/p>\n

Genesis 36:39<\/a>
\n“וַיָּמָת בַּעַל חָנָן בֶּן עַכְבּוֹר וַיִּמְלֹךְ תַּחְתָּיו הֲדַר וְשֵׁם עִירוֹ פָּעוּ וְשֵׁם אִשְׁתּוֹ מְהֵיטַבְאֵל בַּת מַטְרֵד בַּת מֵי זָהָב.”
\n“And when Baal-Hanan the son of Achbor died, Hadar reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Pau. His wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.”<\/p>\n

\nIn the book of Rav Hamnuna Saba<\/a>, we read that king Hadar reigned after the seventh king died. The name Hadar also means a citrus fruit. The fruit is the aspect of Malchut<\/a> and the tree is Yessod<\/a>.
\nPsalms 92:13<\/a>
\n“צַדִּיק כַּתָּמָר יִפְרָח כְּאֶרֶז בַּלְּבָנוֹן יִשְׂגֶּה.”
\n“The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar of Lebanon.”
\nThe righteous, who is male and aspect of Yessod<\/a>, can flourish when he is with a female, meaning a connection with Malchut<\/a>. Hadar is mentioned with his wife and that gave him a proper connection and a strong vessel. She was a daughter of MeZahav, ‘מי זהב’. This name means ‘Water of Gold’. The water is Chassadim<\/a>, Right column<\/a>, and ‘Gold’ is the Left column<\/a>. She drew light from the two sides of Chessed<\/a> and Chokmah<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\nThe seven kings, as previously explained, represent the process of creating the seven Sefirot from Da’at to Malchut<\/a> of the world of Atzilut<\/a>. Netzach<\/a> and Hod<\/a> are considered as one. The Light for the sefirot came from Adam Kadmon and since there were no vessels ready to receive it, they broke. Each of the ‘kings’ represented Light for a specific Sefira. The Zohar describes that when the Light came down to the intended vessel it was like a hammer hitting another metal and releasing sparks in all directions. These sparks came out burning bright but immediately extinguished. They were called the first worlds, and because of that they were destroyed and did not survive the process until Atika Kadisha<\/a> was founded.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nSometimes our desires for specific fulfilments are greater than our vessel can handle. Without the capacity to hold the Light, our vessel can break and draw judgment. If we don’t receive the fulfillment that we are looking for, it could be because Hashem<\/a> shows his mercy and protects us from breaking our vessels. That is why the sages tell us to be happy with what we have because as we grow our vessels on a spiritual level, we can expect to experience changes in our lives. <\/p>\n
