Zohar Ha’azinu<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nAll aspects of the smoke that comes out of the nostrils include harsh judgments that hold to the smoke. They are sweetened by the smoke that comes out from the smoke that comes from the Altar below. That is why we read in the following verse that the aroma of the smoke pleases YHVH<\/a> and stops judgments.
\nGenesis 8:21<\/a>
\n“וַיָּרַח יְהוָה אֶת רֵיחַ הַנִּיחֹחַ וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל לִבּוֹ לֹא אֹסִף לְקַלֵּל עוֹד אֶת הָאֲדָמָה בַּעֲבוּר הָאָדָם כִּי יֵצֶר לֵב הָאָדָם רַע מִנְּעֻרָיו וְלֹא אֹסִף עוֹד לְהַכּוֹת אֶת כָּל חַי כַּאֲשֶׁר עָשִׂיתִי.”
\n“And YHVH<\/a> smelled a soothing aroma. Then YHVH<\/a> said in His heart, “I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.”
\nIt didn’t say ‘smelled the aroma of the sacrifice’ but smelled the aroma because all aspects of the Left, Gevurah<\/a>, hold in the nose. The aroma of the smoke sweeten the judgments and unite with the Gevurah<\/a> on the Left.
\nFrom one nostril comes out a fire that consumes all other fires that are judgments in Malchut<\/a>. From the other nostril comes out smoke that is the judgment of the Left without the Right and Chassadim<\/a>. The fire and smoke of the Altar sweeten the judgments and Atika Kadisha<\/a> is revealed with its Chassadim<\/a> and all judgments stopped.
\nIsaiah 48:9<\/a>
\n“לְמַעַן שְׁמִי אַאֲרִיךְ אַפִּי וּתְהִלָּתִי אֶחֱטָם לָךְ לְבִלְתִּי הַכְרִיתֶךָ.”
\n““For My name’s sake I will defer My anger (אַפִּי), And for My praise, I will restrain (אֶחֱטָם) it from you, So that I do not cut you off.”<\/p>\n

\nThe ‘nose’ of Atika Kadisha<\/a> is long and spreading. It is called ‘ארך אפים’ ‘long nose’. The nose of Zeir Anpin<\/a> is short and when the smoke begins to come out in haste, a judgment is made. The nose of Atika with its Chassadim<\/a> delays this judgment. <\/p>\n
