Zohar Ha’azinu<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nBlessed are the Tzadikim that on them it says (Proverbs 11:13<\/a>) “וְנֶאֱמַן רוּחַ מְכַסֶּה דָבָר” “He who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter”
\nThey have a ‘faithful spirit’ because their soul is drawn from a supernal<\/a> holy place, which is from the center column<\/a>. He who reveals secrets, his soul is not from the body of the King, which is Zeir Anpin<\/a>, Center column<\/a>.
\nThe Tzadikim are blessed for concealing the secrets from falling into the ears of the crooked people.<\/p>\n

\nTwo apples on the face of Zeir Anpin<\/a> are like offerings of fragrances that bring good scent. It is the secret of the illumination of the Light of Chokmah<\/a> from below to above. The illumination of the Light of Chokmah<\/a> is called ‘fragrance’. It is also called apples because apples have a pleasant scent.
\nEcclesiastes 8:1<\/a>
\n“מִי כְּהֶחָכָם וּמִי יוֹדֵעַ פֵּשֶׁר דָּבָר חָכְמַת אָדָם תָּאִיר פָּנָיו וְעֹז פָּנָיו יְשֻׁנֶּא.”
\n“Who is like a wise man? And who knows the interpretation of a thing? A man’s wisdom makes his face shine, And the sternness of his face is changed.”
\nThe wisdom of a person shines on his face that is a testimony to his inner light. The Light on the face comes from Father and Mother<\/a> and revealed in the forehead and the nose.
\nThe two offerings of fragrances that are white and red represent the Right and the Left that is the Light of Chokmah<\/a> and Binah<\/a> that is received by Zeir Anpin<\/a> and shine for Israel<\/a>. When the Right that is Chessed<\/a> and White in control, it is a testimony that the Holy One Blessed be He close to Israel<\/a>. If the Left, Red, is in control then the Holy Light<\/a> is hidden from the Israelites<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nIn the beginning, when the inner secrets of the Torah we passed from a teacher to a student, it was important to conceal the secrets from being revealed to people with low consciousness. The Light of the inner secrets of the Torah was very strong in older times and the wicked would use the extra energy to do harm and drain it to the other-side<\/a>.
\nOn Friday night we connect to the first meal by declaring “This is the meal of the field of Holy apples, and Zeir Anpin<\/a> and the Holy Atika”
\nThe ‘field’ is Malchut<\/a> and the ‘apples’ is the Light that is received on Shabbat.
\n‘The Magid of Kuznitz<\/a>’ reveals that eating apples on Friday night is a promise for sustenance in the coming week.<\/p>\n

Before the blessing of Hamotzie<\/a> on the Challah, we say (Psalms 145:15<\/a>,16)
\n“עֵינֵי כֹל אֵלֶיךָ יְשַׂבֵּרוּ וְאַתָּה נוֹתֵן לָהֶם אֶת אָכְלָם בְּעִתּוֹ.”
\n“einei chol eleicha yesaberu ve’attah noten lahem et achelam be’itto.”
\n“The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season.”
\n“פּוֹתֵחַ אֶת יָדֶךָ וּמַשְׂבִּיעַ לְכָל חַי רָצוֹן.”
\n“poteach et yadecha umasbia lechal chay ratzon”|
\n“You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.”<\/p>\n

The word ‘פּוֹתֵחַ’ ‘Poteach’ ‘Open’ in this verse is the root of sustenance. It has the same letters as ‘Apple’ ‘תפוח’. Shabbat is the source of blessings and sustenance for the whole week. Friday Night is the seed of Shabbat.
\nAs we learned above the two apples represent the Light of Chokmah<\/a> and Binah<\/a> that comes to Zeir Anpin<\/a>.
\nEvery Friday, I prepare two small apples, preferably organic because organic has stronger energy of life.  I put the apples on a plate (I use a small silver-plated plate (Silver is Right column<\/a>, Chessed<\/a>, Sharing) but any plate is fine) on the dinner table before the Kiddush. During the meal, I cut one apple to a few pieces and share it with the family and guests if we have.
\nAnother aspect of opening the channel of sustenance is giving Tzedaka every week to arrive at Shabbat with the action of high-level sharing.
