Zohar Ha’azinu<\/strong>

\nThe Zohar explains the root word for ‘עירין’ ‘watchers’ and quotes 1 Samuel 28:16<\/a> “וַיֹּאמֶר שְׁמוּאֵל וְלָמָּה תִּשְׁאָלֵנִי וַיהוָה סָר מֵעָלֶיךָ וַיְהִי עָרֶךָ.”
\n“Then Samuel said: “So why do you ask me, seeing YHVH<\/a> has departed from you and has become your enemy?”<\/p>\n

The last word in the verse is from the same root and has the meaning of a ‘foe’, ‘enemy’. Those who are not loved above, raise judgments and for that, they are called ‘עירין’,’ Watchers’.
\nThe decrees come in two ways, ‘עִיר וְקַדִּישׁ’, watcher that represents judgments, and Holy that is mercy, as we read in Daniel 4:20<\/a>
\n“וְדִי חֲזָה מַלְכָּא עִיר וְקַדִּישׁ נָחִת מִן שְׁמַיָּא”
\n“The king saw a watcher, a holy one, coming down from heaven”<\/p>\n

\nWhen the lips are open, the mouth releases the Ruach<\/a> that is dressed with many thousands and tens of thousands of lights from Chokmah<\/a> and Chassadim<\/a>. When these lights come and spread out, the faithful prophets hold to it and they are all called “God’s mouth”.
\nWhen the words come out and move the lips they illuminate 18,000 worlds that connect together in Yessod<\/a> of Malchut<\/a> that is called ‘חי’, ‘Life’. ‘חי’ is numerically 18 and it refers to eighteen known paths and ways that represent the vessel that receives the light from Yessod<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\nThe tongue has the aspect of the middle line<\/a> that unites the two lines that are the two lips. The tongue polish the lights of the Right and Left lines in the middle and for that it is written;
\nSongs 5:16<\/a>
\n“חִכּוֹ מַמְתַקִּים וְכֻלּוֹ מַחֲמַדִּים זֶה דוֹדִי וְזֶה רֵעִי בְּנוֹת יְרוּשָׁלָ‍ִם.”
\n“His mouth is most sweet, Yes, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, And this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem<\/a>!”
\nThe Left and the Right are Fire and Water and they bind together with the colors of red and white to express a pleasant connection.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nWith this Zohar, we continue with the study of the Lights that come from the mouth. The mouth is the aspect of Malchut<\/a> because it manifests the Lights from Chokmah<\/a> and Binah<\/a> that comes from Zeir Anpin<\/a> (nose). The fire aspect in the mouth is the energy of the heart (Fire) that heats up the air in the lungs(Water) and lets it vibrate on the way up and out from the mouth. Then the words manifest and are expressed with the tongue and the lips.<\/p>\n
