206. לָמַדְנוּ, כָּתוּב כִּי שֵׁם ה’ אֶקְרָא. מַהוּ כִּי שֵׁם ה’ אֶקְרָא? אָמַר רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן, הֲרֵי כָּתוּב הָבוּ גֹדֶל לֵאלֹהֵינוּ. אָמַר רַבִּי אַבָּא, הָבוּ גֹדֶל – זוֹ גְדֻלָּה. הַצּוּר תָּמִים פָּעֳלוֹ – זוֹ גְבוּרָה. כִּי כָל דְּרָכָיו מִשְׁפָּט – זוֹ תִפְאֶרֶת. אֵל אֱמוּנָה – זֶה נֵצַח. וְאֵין עָוֶל – זֶה הוֹד. צַדִּיק – זֶה יְסוֹד. וְיָשָׁר – זֶה צֶדֶק. הֲרֵי הַכֹּל שֵׁם קָדוֹשׁ שֶׁל הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא, וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה כִּי שֵׁם ה’ אֶקְרָא.
\n207. אָמַר רַבִּי יוֹסֵי, שֵׁם ה’ מַמָּשׁ. וּמֹשֶׁה בְּאוֹתָהּ שָׁעָה גִּלָּה לָהֶם לְיִשְׂרָאֵל, שֶׁכָּתוּב (דברים לא) בֶּן מֵאָה וְעֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה אָנֹכִי הַיּוֹם וְגוֹ’. מִכָּאן לָמַדְנוּ, אוֹתוֹ צַדִּיק שֶׁחָכְמָה עֶלְיוֹנָה בוֹ, כַּאֲשֶׁר מַגִּיעַ יוֹמוֹ לְהִסְתַּלֵּק מֵהָעוֹלָם, צָרִיךְ לְגַלּוֹת אוֹתָהּ הַחָכְמָה לְאֵלּוּ שֶׁרוּחַ קְדוֹשָׁה בֵינֵיהֶם. מִנַּיִן לָנוּ? מִמֹּשֶׁה, שֶׁכָּתוּב בֶּן מֵאָה וְעֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה אָנֹכִי הַיּוֹם, וְכָתוּב (שם) וְעַתָּה כִּתְבוּ לָכֶם אֶת הַשִּׁירָה הַזֹּאת וְגוֹ’.

Zohar Ha’azinu<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nDeuteronomy 32:3<\/a>
\n“כִּי שֵׁם יְהוָה אֶקְרָא הָבוּ גֹדֶל לֵאלֹהֵינוּ.”
\n“For I proclaim the name of YHVH<\/a>: Ascribe greatness to our God.”
\nDeuteronomy 32:4<\/a>
\n“הַצּוּר תָּמִים פָּעֳלוֹ כִּי כָל דְּרָכָיו מִשְׁפָּט אֵל אֱמוּנָה וְאֵין עָוֶל צַדִּיק וְיָשָׁר הוּא.”
\n“He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.”<\/p>\n

Rabbi Shimon explains that ‘Ascribe greatness’ is Chessed<\/a> and ‘He is the Rock’ is Gevurah<\/a>. ‘all His ways are justice’ is Tiferet<\/a>, ‘A God of truth’ is Netzach<\/a>, ‘without injustice’ is Hod<\/a>, ‘Righteous’ is Yessod<\/a>, ‘and upright’ is Malchut<\/a>.
\nThe verse says ‘I proclaim the name of YHVH<\/a>’ because everything is included in the Holy name YHVH<\/a>, including the seven Sefirot of Zeir Anpin<\/a> and Malchut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nDeuteronomy 31:2<\/a>
\n“וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵהֶם בֶּן מֵאָה וְעֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה אָנֹכִי הַיּוֹם לֹא אוּכַל עוֹד לָצֵאת וְלָבוֹא וַיהוָה אָמַר אֵלַי לֹא תַעֲבֹר אֶת הַיַּרְדֵּן הַזֶּה.”
\n“And he said to them: “I am one hundred and twenty years old today. I can no longer go out and come in. Also, YHVH<\/a> has said to me, ‘You shall not cross over this Jordan.’”
\nRabbi Yossi said that Moses revealed the actual YHVH<\/a> name to the children of Israel<\/a>. We learn that when a righteous person with a connection to supernal<\/a> wisdom leaves the world, he needs to reveal that wisdom to people with the holy spirit. From the following verse, we understand that Moses revealed to them what was not said before.<\/p>\n

Deuteronomy 31:19<\/a>
\n“וְעַתָּה כִּתְבוּ לָכֶם אֶת הַשִּׁירָה הַזֹּאת וְלַמְּדָהּ אֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל שִׂימָהּ בְּפִיהֶם לְמַעַן תִּהְיֶה לִּי הַשִּׁירָה הַזֹּאת לְעֵד בִּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.”
\n“Now, therefore, write down this song for yourselves, and teach it to the children of Israel<\/a>; put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for Me against the children of Israel<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

\nThe Torah is called ‘Good’ as we read in Proverbs 4:2<\/a>
\n“כִּי לֶקַח טוֹב נָתַתִּי לָכֶם תּוֹרָתִי אַל תַּעֲזֹבוּ.”
\n“For I give you good doctrine: Do not forsake my law.”<\/p>\n

The righteous are told to reveal the wisdom to the people before leaving the world and won’t have the power to do so.
\nProverbs 3:27<\/a>
\n“אַל תִּמְנַע טוֹב מִבְּעָלָיו בִּהְיוֹת לְאֵל ידיך [יָדְךָ] לַעֲשׂוֹת.”
\n“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due When it is in the power of your hand to do so.”<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nThe righteous put a lot of effort to study the Torah and reveal its secrets. They receive the gift of connection to the supernal<\/a> Chokmah<\/a> (wisdom). Before they leave the world, they need to reveal the secrets to do the ultimate sharing of wisdom with the people.
\nMoses revealed the Torah he received from YHVH<\/a> on Mount Sinai. Rabbi Shimon and many Tzadikim that came after continue to expand the wisdom of the Torah in different publications.<\/p>\n
