217. לְמֶלֶךְ שֶׁהִתְרַגֵּז עַל בְּנוֹ, גָּזַר עָלָיו עֹנֶשׁ לְהִתְרַחֵק מִמֶּנּוּ וְלָלֶכֶת לְאֶרֶץ רְחוֹקָה. שָׁמְעָה הַמַּלְכָּה וְאָמְרָה: הוֹאִיל וּבְנִי הוֹלֵךְ לְאֶרֶץ רְחוֹקָה וּמַשְׁלִיךְ אוֹתוֹ הַמֶּלֶךְ מֵהֵיכָלוֹ, אֲנִי לֹא אֶעֱזֹב אוֹתוֹ. אוֹ שְׁנֵינוּ כְאֶחָד נָשׁוּב לַהֵיכָל שֶׁל הַמֶּלֶךְ, אוֹ שְׁנֵינוּ כְאֶחָד נֵשֵׁב בְּאֶרֶץ אַחֶרֶת. לְעִתִּים פּוֹקֵד הַמֶּלֶךְ עַל הַמַּלְכָּה, וְלֹא מוֹצְאָהּ, שֶׁהָיְתָה הוֹלֶכֶת עִם בְּנוֹ. אָמַר: הוֹאִיל וְהַמַּלְכָּה שָׁם, שְׁנֵיהֶם יָשׁוּבוּ.
\n218. וּבִזְמַן שֶׁיִּפְקֹד הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לַמַּלְכָּה, פּוֹקֵד אוֹתָהּ בַּתְּחִלָּה, וּבִגְלָלָהּ פּוֹקֵד אֶת בָּנָיו. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (שמות ו) וְגַם אֲנִי שָׁמַעְתִּי אֶת נַאֲקַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְגוֹ’. מִי גוֹרֵם שֶׁאֲנִי שׁוֹמֵעַ צָרָתָם? כִּבְיָכוֹל הַמַּלְכָּה. שֶׁאֲנִי זוֹכֵר אוֹתָהּ. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (שם) וָאֶזְכֹּר אֶת בְּרִיתִי. וְכָתוּב (שם ב) וַיִּזְכֹּר הָאֱלֹהִים אֶת בְּרִיתוֹ. וְכַאֲשֶׁר הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא יַחֲזִיר אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל מִן הַגָּלוּת, מַה כָּתוּב? Zohar Ha’azinu<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nIt is like a king who was angry with his son and decreed that he will be sent away to a distant land. The Queen heard the decree and said that she won’t leave her son. Either they go back together to the King’s palace or stay with her son in exile. Later the King came to visit the Queen but didn’t find her. He said that since the Queen is with the son, both will return together to the palace.<\/p>\n

\nWhen the Holy One Blessed be He comes to visit the Shechina, he will come to her first and for her sake, he will also visit the children, as we read in Exodus 6:5<\/a>
\n“וְגַם אֲנִי שָׁמַעְתִּי אֶת נַאֲקַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר מִצְרַיִם מַעֲבִדִים אֹתָם וָאֶזְכֹּר אֶת בְּרִיתִי.”
\n“And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel<\/a> whom the Egyptians keep in bondage, and I have remembered My covenant.”<\/p>\n

The Shechina is called ‘covenant’. She caused the Holy One to hear the pain of his children as it is written “and I have remembered My covenant”.
\nExodus 2:24<\/a>
\n“וַיִּשְׁמַע אֱלֹהִים אֶת נַאֲקָתָם וַיִּזְכֹּר אֱלֹהִים אֶת בְּרִיתוֹ אֶת אַבְרָהָם אֶת יִצְחָק וְאֶת יַעֲקֹב.”
\n“So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.”
\nPsalms 85:2<\/a>
\n“רָצִיתָ יְהוָה אַרְצֶךָ שַׁבְתָּ שבות [שְׁבִית] יַעֲקֹב.“
\n“YHVH<\/a>, You wanted Your land; You have brought back the captivity of Jacob.”
\nWhen the Holy One Blessed be He bring back Israel<\/a> from exile, it is written,
\nDeuteronomy 30:3<\/a>
\n“וְשָׁב יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֶת שְׁבוּתְךָ וְרִחֲמֶךָ וְשָׁב וְקִבֶּצְךָ מִכָּל הָעַמִּים אֲשֶׁר הֱפִיצְךָ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ שָׁמָּה.”
\n“that YHVH<\/a> your God will bring you back from captivity, and have compassion on you, and gather you again from all the nations where YHVH<\/a> your God has scattered you.”<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nThe Torah is the aspect of Zeir Anpin<\/a> and the ‘son’ of King. The Shechina is with the ‘son’ which is the Torah. When we study and follow the Torah, the Shechina provides for us.<\/p>\n
