238. כְּנֶשֶׁר יָעִיר קִנּוֹ. אָמַר רַבִּי יוֹסֵי, לֹא מָצָאנוּ מִי שֶׁמְּרַחֵם עַל בָּנָיו כַּנֶּשֶׁר הַזֶּה. וְעַל זֶה לָמַדְנוּ, כָּתוּב (יחזקאל א) וּפְנֵי אַרְיֵה אֶל הַיָּמִין לְאַרְבַּעְתָּם וּפְנֵי שׁוֹר מֵהַשְּׂמֹאל. הַנֶּשֶׁר, הֵיכָן מְקוֹמוֹ? בְּמָקוֹם שֶׁיַּעֲקֹב עוֹמֵד. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (משלי ל) דֶּרֶךְ הַנֶּשֶׁר בַּשָּׁמַיִם. בְּאוֹתוֹ מָקוֹם מַמָּשׁ. מַה טַּעֲמוֹ? מִשּׁוּם שֶׁהוּא מְרַחֵם עַל בָּנָיו, וּבְדִין עִם אֲחֵרִים. כָּךְ הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא מַנְהִיג אֶת בָּנָיו כְּנֶשֶׁר זֶה.

Zohar Ha’azinu<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nRabbi Yossi says that no one has compassion for his children like the eagle.
\nEzekiel 1:10<\/a>
\n“וּדְמוּת פְּנֵיהֶם פְּנֵי אָדָם וּפְנֵי אַרְיֵה אֶל הַיָּמִין לְאַרְבַּעְתָּם וּפְנֵי שׁוֹר מֵהַשְּׂמֹאול לְאַרְבַּעְתָּן וּפְנֵי נֶשֶׁר לְאַרְבַּעְתָּן.”
\n“As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man; each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, each of the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and each of the four had the face of an eagle.”
\nThe eagle is one of the living Creatures of the Holy throne. He is in the place of Jacob, the center column<\/a>.
\nProverbs 30:19<\/a>
\n“דֶּרֶךְ הַנֶּשֶׁר בַּשָּׁמַיִם דֶּרֶךְ נָחָשׁ עֲלֵי צוּר דֶּרֶךְ אֳנִיָּה בְלֶב יָם וְדֶרֶךְ גֶּבֶר בְּעַלְמָה.”
\n“The way of an eagle in the sky, The way of a serpent on a rock, The way of a ship in the midst of the sea, And the way of a man with a virgin.”<\/p>\n

Zeir Anpin<\/a> is called the sky, heavens. It is the center that includes the Right and the Left columns together. The Holy One Blessed be He includes Chessed<\/a> and Judgment and is merciful toward his children, like the Eagle leads his children.<\/p>\n

\nDeuteronomy 32:12<\/a>
\n“יְהוָה בָּדָד יַנְחֶנּוּ וְאֵין עִמּוֹ אֵל נֵכָר.”
\n“So YHVH<\/a> alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.”
\nYHVH<\/a> is leading us to the ‘Promised Land’ and ‘no strange god’ that is a reference to the ministers of the other nations.
\nExodus 13:21<\/a>
\n“וַיהוָה הֹלֵךְ לִפְנֵיהֶם יוֹמָם בְּעַמּוּד עָנָן לַנְחֹתָם הַדֶּרֶךְ וְלַיְלָה בְּעַמּוּד אֵשׁ לְהָאִיר לָהֶם לָלֶכֶת יוֹמָם וָלָיְלָה.”
\n“And YHVH<\/a> went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night.”<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nYHVH<\/a> doesn’t use ministers to lead us like the other nations. He alone leads us with his infinite mercy.
\nDuring the journeys in the desert, we enjoy the blessings of the brothers, Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
\nMoses connected us to the Manna from high heavens, Miriam brought the water from the earth, and Aaron brought the clouds that represented Zeir Anpin<\/a> and the mercy, and protection of YHVH<\/a>. <\/p>\n
