50. מַחֲלֹקֶת שֶׁהִתְתַּקְּנָה כְּמוֹ שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה, וְעוֹלָה וְלֹא יוֹרֶדֶת, וּמִתְקַיֶּמֶת בְּדֶרֶךְ יָשָׁר – זוֹ מַחֲלֹקֶת שֶׁל שַׁמַּאי וְהִלֵּל. וְהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא הִפְרִיד בֵּינֵיהֶם וְהִסְכִּים לָהֶם, וְזוֹ הָיְתָה מַחֲלֹקֶת לְשֵׁם שָׁמַיִם. וְשָׁמַיִם הִפְרִידוּ מַחֲלֹקֶת, וְעַל זֶה הִתְקַיֵּם. וְזֶה הָיָה כְּמוֹ שֶׁמַּעֲשֵׂה בְרֵאשִׁית. וְקֹרַח בְּמַעֲשֵׂה בְרֵאשִׁית הִכְחִישׁ אֶת כֹּל, וּמַחֲלֹקֶת שֶׁל שָׁמַיִם הָיְתָה. וְרָצָה לְהַכְחִישׁ דִּבְרֵי תוֹרָה. וַדַּאי הָיָה בְּהִתְדַּבְּקוּת הַגֵּיהִנֹּם, וְעַל זֶה נִדְבַּק בּוֹ.

Zohar Beresheet<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nShamai and Hillel represented two schools of thought. Shamai’s approach was considered Left and Hillel’s Right. Their disputes were for the sake of heavens so both of them connected to the Center column<\/a> without division. Shamai on the Left revealed Light from Below to above, and Hillel from Above to below.
\nTheir dispute was like the first and second day of Creation that we explained above in #44 and resolved on the third day with the formation of the Center column<\/a>.
\nKorah denied the words of the Torah and the Left pulled him down to Gehinnom<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nThis secret is in the book of Adam<\/a>. When darkness rises to have control with the force of the Left, Gehinnom<\/a> was created from the dispute. After the force of the Left and anger quelled down, the dispute arose in another way, and it is a dispute of love. The Left desired the Chassadim<\/a> of the Right, and the Right desired the Light of Chokmah<\/a> on the Left. They completed each other and held to the Center column<\/a>, and accepted that the Left would illuminate from below upward, and the Right from above downward.<\/p>\n

\nThe dispute of Korah was the first and stuck in Gehinnom<\/a>. The dispute of Shamai was the last and ends with love that was accepted in the heavens.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nDuring our lives, we go through many situations of disputes. When we seek to end it in peace, we get support from the heavens. When we keep the unresolved disputes, we increase the power of the Left and it brings ‘hell’ into our lives.
\nBefore we go to sleep it is important to forgive and forget any negative situation we experienced during the day. This will bring peace into our sleep and connect us to the Right to receive Chassadim<\/a>.<\/p>\n
