97. כְּשֶׁרַב יוֹסֵף הָיָה שׁוֹמֵעַ הַפָּרָשָׁה הַזּוֹ מֵרָאשֵׁי הַיְשִׁיבָה, הָיָה אוֹמֵר: מִי שֶׁהוּא עָפָר, מַה הוּא [רֵיק] זוֹכֶה לָזֶה? מִי יִזְכֶּה וּמִי יָקוּם? זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (תהלים כד) מִי יַעֲלֶה בְּהַר ה’ וגו’.
\n98. אָמַר רַבִּי אַבָּא, בֹּא רְאֵה מַה שֶּׁכָּתוּב, וַיִּשְׁמַע אַבְרָהָם אֶל עֶפְרוֹן וַיִּשְׁקֹל אַבְרָהָם לְעֶפְרֹן אֶת הַכֶּסֶף. זֶהוּ הַכִּסּוּף הַגָּדוֹל שֶׁהֵם עוֹלָמוֹת וְכִסּוּפִים. אַרְבַּע מֵאוֹת שֶׁקֶל כֶּסֶף – אַרְבַּע מֵאוֹת עוֹלָמוֹת וַהֲנָאוֹת וְכִסּוּפִים. עֹבֵר לַסֹּחֵר – רַב נַחְמָן אָמַר, שֶׁיַּעֲבֹר כָּל שַׁעֲרֵי שָׁמַיִם וִירוּשָׁלַיִם שֶׁל מַעְלָה, וְאֵין מוֹחֶה בְיָדוֹ.

\nAfter Rabbi Yosef heard the above explanation he said ‘who is the one in the dust that has merits for four hundred worlds? Who will merit it? Who will rise?’ As it is written.
\nPsalms 24:3<\/a>
\n“מִי יַעֲלֶה בְהַר יְהוָה וּמִי יָקוּם בִּמְקוֹם קָדְשׁוֹ.”
\n“Who may ascend into the hill of YHVH<\/a>? Or who may stand in His holy place?”<\/p>\n

\nGenesis 23:16<\/a>
\n“וַיִּשְׁמַע אַבְרָהָם אֶל עֶפְרוֹן וַיִּשְׁקֹל אַבְרָהָם לְעֶפְרֹן אֶת הַכֶּסֶף אֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר בְּאָזְנֵי בְנֵי חֵת אַרְבַּע מֵאוֹת שֶׁקֶל כֶּסֶף עֹבֵר לַסֹּחֵר.”
\n“And Abraham listened to Ephron; and Abraham weighed out the silver for Ephron which he had named in the hearing of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, currency transfer to merchants.”
\nRabbi Aba says that the 400 Shekels of silver means 400 worlds of desires and pleasures. Rabbi Nachman says that ‘currency transfer to merchants’ means that the person can pass through all the gates of heavens and Jerusalem<\/a> above without being stopped. It means that those who have the merits are in a complete and pure state that no adversary can stop them. <\/p>\n

\n“וְאַחֲרֵי כֵן קָבַר אַבְרָהָם אֶת שָׂרָה אִשְׁתּוֹ אֶל מְעָרַת שְׂדֵה הַמַּכְפֵּלָה עַל פְּנֵי מַמְרֵא הִוא חֶבְרוֹן בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן.”
\n“And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah, before Mamre (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan.”
\nAbraham buried the body with the Tzadikim by Duma<\/a>, as we explained above. Rabbi Yitzchak says that all the bodies registered by Duma<\/a> will be visited by him and resurrected when the Holy One Blessed be He comes to revive the dwellers of dust. Woe to the wicked that are not registered by the hands of Duma<\/a> for they will be lost in Gehinnom<\/a> forever.
