[עוֹד] אָמַר רַבִּי יְהוֹשֻׁעַ, שֶׁזֶּה לֹא יִהְיֶה לְךָ קָשֶׁה, שֶׁהֲרֵי שָׁנִינוּ, שָׁלֹשׁ כִּתּוֹת הֵן: שֶׁל צַדִּיקִים גְּמוּרִים, וְשֶׁל רְשָׁעִים גְּמוּרִים, וְשֶׁל בֵּינוֹנִים. צַדִּיקִים גְּמוּרִים יָקוּמוּ בַּקִּימָה שֶׁל מֵתֵי אֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל, מֵהַיּוֹם כַּמָּה שָׁנִים, שֶׁהֵם קוֹדְמִים בַּתְּחִלָּה בִּשְׁנַת הָאַרְבָּעִים שֶׁל קִבּוּץ גָּלֻיּוֹת. וְהָאַחֲרוֹנִים כֻּלָּם לִזְמַן אַרְבַּע מֵאוֹת וּשְׁמוֹנֶה שָׁנָה לָאֶלֶף הַשִּׁשִּׁי, כְּמוֹ שֶׁאָמַרְנוּ. מִי יִזְכֶּה לָאֹרֶךְ הַזֶּה? מִי יִתְקַיֵּם בְּקִיּוּם דָּתוֹ בֵּין הַזְּמַן הַזֶּה, וְעַל כֵּן אֲנִי מִצְטַעֵר בְּנַפְשִׁי.

Zohar Toldot<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nRabbi Yehoshua explains that there are three main classes of spiritual levels; completely righteous, completely wicked, and those in the middle. The completely righteous would rise to life together with the Resurrection of the dead in Israel<\/a>. It would be in the fortieth year of the gathering of the Israelites<\/a> from exile, years ahead of the others. The last would resurrect 408 years into the sixth millennium. Those who keep the faith<\/a> at that time would merit the length of life.<\/p>\n

\nRabbi Elazar ben Arach quotes Genesis 1:3<\/a>
\n“וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים, יְהִי אוֹר; וַיְהִי-אוֹר” “Let there be Light”
\nThe word ‘אור’ ‘Light’ has the same numerical value as ‘רז’ ‘Secret’. He explains that ‘Light’ is the secret of the Redemption. When it says ‘Let there be Light’ it means is that the time of the Redemption would be a secret, ‘רז’, and wouldn’t be known to any man. Repentance<\/a> would add merits to the people to be resurrected at the time of the Redemption.
\nRabbi Yehoshua told him that his words keep it open for the people to expect the Redemption any day, as it is written;
\nIsaiah 33:6<\/a>
\n“וְהָיָה אֱמוּנַת עִתֶּיךָ חֹסֶן יְשׁוּעֹת חָכְמַת וָדָעַת יִרְאַת יְהוָה הִיא אוֹצָרוֹ.”
\n“Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times And the strength of salvation; The fear of YHVH<\/a> is His treasure.”
\n“The strength of Salvation” is for those who expect the Redemption every day.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nThere were many great Kabbalists in past generations that predicted possible time for the Redemption. They may have been right, but it was not dependent on them alone. The people should have the merits for the Redemption. Moses wanted to go with the Israelites<\/a> into the Land of Israel<\/a> and bring about the Final Redemption. Hashem<\/a> stopped him after 515 prayers because it was not the time. We need to do the work to earn individual merits as well as raising the level for the whole world and hasten the coming of Mashiach and the Final Redemption.
