The adversaries that he created with his sins may see him, reveal his sins, and accuse him to punish him.<\/p>\n<p>Lesson;<br>\nEven though the shechinah left Jacob after he learned that <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Yosef HaTzadik&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Yosef (Joseph) HaTzadikChariot for the Sefirah of Yessod, Light of sustenance. &amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;Tomb of Joseph in Shechem, Israel &amp;lt;\/strong&amp;gt;&lt;\/div&gt;\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/?glossary=yosef-hatzadik\" data-gt-translate-attributes=\"[{&quot;attribute&quot;:&quot;data-cmtooltip&quot;, &quot;format&quot;:&quot;html&quot;}]\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">Joseph<\/a> died, he was still connected higher spiritually, but his sons were not. He told them that when they go down to Egypt to buy food, they should lower themselves to avoid getting exposed by judgments that spread in the world.<br>\nWhen one of the family passes away for whatever reason, old age, disease, or accident, it is the aspect of judgment. For that reason, we are told to tear up our shirts, sit on the ground or low, and avoid any aspect of pleasure, even washing our body is forbidden for seven days. It is done so to avoid connecting to the judgment that happened in the family and maybe still roam around. The guidelines of sitting Shiva (Seven) for the dead are mostly for our protection than the aspect of respecting the deceased. <\/p>\n<p>The Zohar teaches us that when there is a lack of light, we see &lsquo;sorrow&rsquo; in the world. That is an aspect of Judgment and we should avoid getting into such situations.<br>\nThe world is most probably in a state of the final war between good and evil.
