90. צַוָּארֵךְ – זֶה בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ שֶׁלְּמַטָּה, שֶׁעוֹמֵד בְּתִקּוּן שֶׁל יֹפִי כְּצַוָּאר לַגּוּף. מָה הַצַּוָּאר הוּא הַיֹּפִי שֶׁל כָּל הַגּוּף – כָּךְ גַּם בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ הוּא הַיֹּפִי שֶׁל כָּל הָעוֹלָם.
\n91. בָּנוּי לְתַלְפִּיּוֹת – תֵּל שֶׁכָּל בְּנֵי הָעוֹלָם הָיוּ מִסְתַּכְּלִים בּוֹ. וְכָךְ בֵּאֲרוּהוּ, תַּלְפִּיּוֹת – תֵּל שֶׁכָּל הַפִּיּוֹת שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם מְשַׁבְּחִים וּמִתְפַּלְלִים אֵלָיו.

Songs 4:4<\/a>
\n“כְּמִגְדַּל דָּוִיד צַוָּארֵךְ בָּנוּי לְתַלְפִּיּוֹת אֶלֶף הַמָּגֵן תָּלוּי עָלָיו כֹּל שִׁלְטֵי הַגִּבּוֹרִים.”
\n“Your neck is like the Tower of David, Built with rows of stones On which are hung a thousand shields, All the round shields of the mighty men.”<\/p>\n

\n‘Your neck’ is the aspect of the Holy Temple below that looks like the Tower of David that is the Nukva<\/a>. It is called so because as the neck represents the beauty of the body, so is the Holy Temple that shows the beauty of the whole world. <\/p>\n

\nWe read the word ‘תַלְפִּיּוֹת’ from ‘בָּנוּי לְתַלְפִּיּוֹת’ ‘Built with rows of stones’ as two words ‘תַלְ פִּיּוֹת’ that means ‘Hill\/Mound’ and ‘Mouths’. It means that the Holy Temple was built elevated so the entire world looks up to it, with praises and prayers in their mouths.<\/p>\n

\n‘a thousand shields’ represent a thousand correction coming from the Light of Chokmah<\/a> that is revealed from the word ‘אֶלֶף’ ‘a thousand’ (Job 33:33<\/a>).
\n‘the mighty men’ come from the side of harsh judgment and that is why they are called ‘mighty’.<\/p>\n

\nThe correction of the world connects to the Holy Temple and depends on it.
\nLamentation 5:5<\/a>
\n“עַל צַוָּארֵנוּ נִרְדָּפְנוּ יָגַעְנוּ לא [וְלֹא] הוּנַח לָנוּ.”
\n“Our pursuers are at our necks; We are worn out, there is no rest for us.”
\nThe Holy Temple is the ‘neck’ and beauty of the whole world. We were pursued by the enemies that wanted to destroy it. ‘We were worn out’ because we built it twice and they give us no rest. They destroyed it and have not rebuilt it since.<\/p>\n

\nWhen the neck is corrupted, the whole body is corrupted with it, so is the Holy Temple, because it was destroyed, we lost its Light and darkness spreads in the whole world, and the sun does not shine, nor heaven and earth and the stars.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nThe neck is the aspect of the Holy Temple that is Zeir Anpin<\/a> because it connects the head, which is the upper three Sefirot, to the body that is Malchut<\/a>.
\nThe ‘neck’ is our connection to the Light. If it is ‘corrupted’ then we lose the beauty that it can reveal. Without it, we live in darkness.<\/p>\n

Special note to the current state of the world.
\nI receive messages from many people about being depressed because of the chaotic state in the US and in many places around the world. Evil spreads everywhere and seeks to take away our freedom, including the freedom to practice religion. There are election frauds in the US and in many other countries. It brings corrupted governments to control innocent people. Evil leaders create situations that force businesses to close and loss of income on all levels. Evil wants to take away independence and hope to have full control over the people. This is a state of darkness that depresses many people. Some don’t even see ‘escape’ from this situation and lose faith<\/a> that good would win.
\nWe should not let our neck fall to the evil that wishes to disconnect us from the Light and hope.
\nDuring this time we need to strengthen our neck with certainty that God wins over evil. All we need is to keep our studies and prayers to draw light into our lives and the world. We will see miracles simply because those who can see and feel the depth of evil that spreads, understand that this is the final war between good and evil. Because of that Hashem<\/a> is going to intervene in the right moment and stop the world from going dark.
\nThe good news is that darkness would come only to those who lost their ‘neck’.<\/p>\n

WE SHOULD NEVER EVER GIVE UP THE LIGHT EVEN FOR ONE MOMENT.<\/p>\n

\nאִתְּמַר נָמֵי, רַבִּי יוֹחָנָן וְרַבִּי אֱלִיעֶזֶר דְאָמְרִי תַּרְוַיְיהוּ: אֲפִילּוּ חֶרֶב חַדָּה מוּנַּחַת עַל צַוָּארוֹ שֶׁל אָדָם, אַל יִמְנַע עַצְמוֹ מִן הָרַחֲמִים. שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר: ״הֵן יִקְטְלֵנִי לוֹ אֲיַחֵל״.
\nWith regard to the fact that one should not despair of God’s mercy, the Gemara cites that it was also said that Rabbi Yoḥanan and Rabbi Eliezer both said: Even if a sharp sword is resting upon a person’s neck, he should not prevent himself from praying for mercy, as it is stated in the words of Job: “Though He slays me, I will trust in Him” (Job 13:15<\/a>). Even though God is about to take his life, he still prays for God’s mercy.<\/p>\n
