105. בֹּא רְאֵה, כַּאֲשֶׁר יָקִים הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לְזֶה הַקּוֹל מֵהֶעָפָר וְיִתְחַבֵּר בָּאוֹת וָא”ו, אָז כָּל מַה שֶּׁנֶּאֱבַד מֵהֶם בִּזְמַן הַגָּלוּת יַחֲזֹר, וְיִתְעַדְּנוּ בְּאוֹרוֹת עֶלְיוֹנִים שֶׁנּוֹסָפִים מִתּוֹךְ הָעוֹלָם הָעֶלְיוֹן, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר וְהָיָה בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא יִתָּקַע בְּשׁוֹפָר גָּדוֹל וּבָאוּ הָאֹבְדִים בְּאֶרֶץ אַשּׁוּר וְהַנִּדָּחִים בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם וְהִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לַה’ בְּהַר הַקֹּדֶשׁ בִּירוּשָׁלִָם.
\n106. וְאַתָּה צֻוֵּיתָה זֹאת עָשׂוּ קְחוּ לָכֶם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם וְגוֹ’. רַבִּי חִיָּיא פָּתַח, שִׂמְחוּ אֶת יְרוּשָׁלִַם וְגִילוּ בָהּ כָּל אֹהֲבֶיהָ שִׂישׂוּ אִתָּהּ מָשׂוֹשׂ וְגוֹ’. בֹּא רְאֵה, כְּשֶׁנֶּחֱרַב בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ וְגָרְמוּ הַחֲטָאִים וְגָלוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל מִן הָאָרֶץ, הִסְתַּלֵּק הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לְמַעְלָה לְמַעְלָה, וְלֹא הִשְׁגִּיחַ עַל חֻרְבַּן בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ וְעַל עַמּוֹ שֶׁגָּלוּ, וְאָז הַשְּׁכִינָה גָּלְתָה עִמָּהֶם.
\n107. כְּשֶׁיָּרַד, הִשְׁגִּיחַ עַל בֵּיתוֹ שֶׁנִּשְׂרַף, הִסְתַּכֵּל עַל עַמּוֹ – וְהִנֵּה הָגְלָה. שָׁאַל עַל הַגְּבִירָה – וְהִיא גֹּרְשָׁה. אָז וַיִּקְרָא ה’ אֱלֹהִים צְבָאוֹת בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא לִבְכִי וּלְמִסְפֵּד וּלְקָרְחָה וְלַחֲגֹר שַׂק. וְהִיא גַם הִיא מַה כָּתוּב בָּהּ? Zohar Vayigash<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nWhen the Holy One Blessed be He comes to raise the voice ‘קֹל’ of the Nukva<\/a> from the earth, He would connect it to the Vav ואו, and everything that they lost during the exile would return to them. They would enjoy the Lights from the highest levels as it is written; Isaiah 27:13<\/a>
\n“וְהָיָה בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא יִתָּקַע בְּשׁוֹפָר גָּדוֹל וּבָאוּ הָאֹבְדִים בְּאֶרֶץ אַשּׁוּר וְהַנִּדָּחִים בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם וְהִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לַיהוָה בְּהַר הַקֹּדֶשׁ בִּירוּשָׁלָ‍ִם.”
\n“And in that day a great trumpet will be blown, and those who were lost in the land of Assyria and those who were driven out to the land of Egypt will come and worship YHVH<\/a> on the holy mountain at Jerusalem<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

\nIsaiah 66:10<\/a>
\n“שִׂמְחוּ אֶת יְרוּשָׁלַ‍ִם וְגִילוּ בָהּ כָּל אֹהֲבֶיהָ שִׂישׂוּ אִתָּהּ מָשׂוֹשׂ כָּל הַמִּתְאַבְּלִים עָלֶיהָ.”
\n“Rejoice with Jerusalem<\/a>, And be glad with her, all you who love her; Rejoice for joy with her, all you who mourn for her;”
\nRabbi Chiya quotes the above verse and explains that when the children of Israel<\/a> sinned, the Holy One Blessed be He removed himself from the Temple, and this state allowed the Temple to be burnt and destroyed. The people went to exile, and the Shechina joined her children in exile.<\/p>\n

\nWhen the Holy One came back, he saw his house burnt, he looked at his people and they were in exile. He asked for the Shechina and she was also in exile. Then he called;
\nIsaiah 22:12<\/a>
\n“וַיִּקְרָא אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה צְבָאוֹת בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא לִבְכִי וּלְמִסְפֵּד וּלְקָרְחָה וְלַחֲגֹר שָׂק.”
\n“And in that day YHVH<\/a> GOD of hosts Called for weeping and for mourning, For baldness and for girded with sackcloth.”
\nNow that the Shechina is without her husband she laments as it is written;
\nJoel 1:8<\/a>
\n“אֱלִי כִּבְתוּלָה חֲגֻרַת שַׂק עַל בַּעַל נְעוּרֶיהָ.”
\n“Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth For the husband of her youth.”<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nExodus 25:8<\/a>
\n“וְעָשׂוּ לִי מִקְדָּשׁ וְשָׁכַנְתִּי בְּתוֹכָם.”
\n“And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell in them.”
\nWe are a small temple for the Holy One Blessed be He. The verse is a simple statement but also a Torah law. If we make ourselves as a temple, Hashem<\/a> will dwell in us.
\nWe sanctify ourselves by studying and following the ways of the Torah. Zohar’s studies give us a higher level of purity. If we sin, the holiness is removed from us and we get into a state of exile. The Shechina stays close to us to enable us to make connections when we want to rebuild our own temple.
\nThe pure Light can not stay in an impure vessel. Without the Light, the vessel gets into a vulnerable state and it can easily break. When it breaks there is no hold for the impure side and the vessel is considered pure but empty. This is the state of exile that causes us pain because we are experiencing the loss of the Light that we had and enjoyed.
\nThe distance that the vessel experiences depends on its size and level of purity. The more we study, the closer we feel to the Light.
\nThe Holy One Blessed be He didn’t leave the Holy Temple because we sinned. He left because he can’t stay in an impure vessel. The good news is that we can always call him back.
\nPsalms 145:18<\/a>
\n“קָרוֹב יְהוָה לְכָל קֹרְאָיו לְכֹל אֲשֶׁר יִקְרָאֻהוּ בֶאֱמֶת.”
\n“YHVH<\/a> is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.”
\n‘truth’ ‘אֱמֶת’ represents the center column<\/a> and the ‘seal’ of YHVH<\/a>. Those who are away from the center are far from him.<\/p>\n
