103. וּבֹא רְאֵה, בִּימֵי דָוִד הַמֶּלֶךְ הָיָה מַקְרִיב כָּל אוֹתָם חַיְתוֹ שָׂדַי אֶל הַיָּם. כֵּיוָן שֶׁבָּא שְׁלֹמֹה, יָצָא הַיָּם וְהִתְמַלֵּא וְהִשְׁקָה אוֹתָם. אֵיזֶה מֵהֶם נִשְׁקִים בָּרִאשׁוֹנָה? הֲרֵי פֵּרְשׁוּהָ, אֵלּוּ הַתַּנִּינִים הַגְּדוֹלִים הָעֶלְיוֹנִים, שֶׁכָּתוּב בָּהֶם (בראשית א) וּמִלְאוּ אֶת הַמַּיִם בַּיַּמִּים.

\nIsaiah 56:9<\/a>
\n“כֹּל חַיְתוֹ שָׂדָי אֵתָיוּ לֶאֱכֹל כָּל חַיְתוֹ בַּיָּעַר.”
\n“All you beasts of the field, come to devour, All you beasts in the forest.”
\nDuring King David’s life, he was bringing the ‘beasts of the field’ to the sea. When King Solomon came, the sea became full and gave water to the beasts. First to receive were the sea-serpents, as it is written in Genesis 1:22<\/a>
\n“וַיְבָרֶךְ אֹתָם אֱלֹהִים לֵאמֹר פְּרוּ וּרְבוּ וּמִלְאוּ אֶת הַמַּיִם בַּיַּמִּים וְהָעוֹף יִרֶב בָּאָרֶץ.”
\n“And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”
\nExplanation: King David drew down the upper three worlds of Beriah<\/a>, Yetzirah, and Asiyah, to the sea that is Malchut<\/a>.
\nWhen King Solomon came, the Nukva<\/a> was filled with Light, and the worlds of Beriah<\/a>, Yetzirah, and Asiyah went up to the world of Atzilut<\/a>. The sea that is the Nukva<\/a> elevated to the supernal<\/a> Father and Mother<\/a>, where Malchut<\/a> can connect to its source of Light and get filled.
\nThe ‘Sea-serpents’ that are the angels Metat-<\/a>, and Sandal- receive first because they are above all angels of the lower three worlds. <\/p>\n

\nExodus 7:9<\/a>
\n“כִּי יְדַבֵּר אֲלֵכֶם פַּרְעֹה לֵאמֹר תְּנוּ לָכֶם מוֹפֵת וְאָמַרְתָּ אֶל אַהֲרֹן קַח אֶת מַטְּךָ וְהַשְׁלֵךְ לִפְנֵי פַרְעֹה יְהִי לְתַנִּין.”
\n“When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, ‘Show a miracle for yourselves,’ then you shall say to Aaron, ‘Take your rod and cast it before Pharaoh, and let it become a sea-serpent.’ ”<\/p>\n

Rabbi Yehuda quotes Rabbi Elazar explaining that there are sea-serpents from the holy side and others from the Klipa<\/a>. When Aaron cast his rod before Pharaoh, it turned into a sea-serpent from the Holy Side. The magicians of Pharaoh did the same and created similar serpents but Aaron’s rod swallowed theirs.
\nFrom the right side of Binah<\/a> come out thirteen springs and deep rivers. They represent the sefirot that go down and split to Right and Left. The Right illuminates from above downward and the Left from below upward.
\nTheir movement through the levels put them together as one that takes Chassadim<\/a> from the right and split to four directions that each has 250 streams from the holy side, and together 1000 streams that are called holy sea-serpents.<\/p>\n

\nFrom the thirteen rivers of the Left and the springs from the Right come out thirteen streams with lights from the Left. They take 499 and a half parts from the Right and 499 and a half parts from the Left. The two remaining halves become one that enters between the streams and turn into a Snake<\/a>. <\/p>\n
