109. בֹּא רְאֵה, כָּתוּב וַיְהִי בַּחֲצִי הַלַּיְלָה. כַּחֲצִי הָיָה צָרִיךְ (לִכְתֹּב), אוֹ כַּחֲצוֹת, כְּמוֹ שֶׁאָמַר מֹשֶׁה. וְאִם כְּמוֹ שֶׁאָמְרוּ חֲבֵרֵינוּ, שֶׁלֹּא יֹאמְרוּ אִצְטַגְנִינֵי פַרְעֹה, מֹשֶׁה בַּדַּאי הוּא. הֲרֵי הַקֻּשְׁיָא בִּמְקוֹמָהּ עוֹמֶדֶת בִּשְׁלֹשָׁה אֳפָנִים, שֶׁאֲפִלּוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל יֹאמְרוּ כָּךְ. אֶחָד – שֶׁאִם כָּךְ, הָיָה לוֹ לוֹמַר, וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה כַּחֲצוֹת הַלַּיְלָה. לָמָּה אָמַר כֹּה אָמַר ה’ וְגוֹ’, כְּמוֹ שֶׁלֹּא יְכַוֵּן אֶת הַשָּׁעָה, שֶׁהֲרֵי לֹא יִתָּפְסוּ בְּמֹשֶׁה אֶלָּא בַּפַּטְרוֹן, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁאָמַר כֹּה אָמַר ה’ וְגוֹ’? שְׁנַיִם – שֶׁהֲרֵי מֹשֶׁה אָמַר עַד בְּכוֹר הַשִּׁפְחָה אֲשֶׁר אַחַר הָרֵחָיִם, וְלֹא הָיָה כָּךְ, אֶלָּא עַד בְּכוֹר הַשְּׁבִי אֲשֶׁר בְּבֵית הַבּוֹר. עַל כָּל פָּנִים, אֲפִלּוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל גַּם יֹאמְרוּ כָּךְ, שֶׁהֲרֵי לֹא הִתְבָּרְרוּ הַדְּבָרִים. שְׁלֹשָׁה – שֶׁהוּא אָמַר מִשֵּׁם הַפַּטְרוֹן כַּחֲצוֹת, וְכָתוּב וַיְהִי בַּחֲצִי הַלַּיְלָה.
\n110. וְעוֹד שְׁאֵלָה שֶׁלָּכֶם יוֹתֵר עַל הַמַּשָּׂא שֶׁלֹּא יְכוֹלָה הַבְּהֵמָה לִסְבֹּל, לָמָּה הָיָה בַּחֲצוֹת הַלַּיְלָה וְלֹא בַּיּוֹם? וְלָמָּה מֵתוּ כָּל אוֹתָם הַחַלָּשִׁים שֶׁאַחַר הָרֵחַיִם? אֶלָּא הַכֹּל הוּא סוֹד עֶלְיוֹן בֵּין קוֹצְרֵי הַשָּׂדֶה, וְהַכֹּל הֻכְשַׁר (הִתְבַּשֵּׂר) בַּנָּבִיא הַנֶּאֱמָן.<\/div>\n

Zohar Bo<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nIn Exodus 12:29<\/a> we read “At midnight” and earlier it is written that Moses delivered the words of Hashem<\/a> as “About midnight”; Exodus 11:4<\/a>
\n“וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה, כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה: כַּחֲצֹת הַלַּיְלָה, אֲנִי יוֹצֵא בְּתוֹךְ מִצְרָיִם.”
\n“Then Moses said, “Thus says YHVH<\/a>: ‘About midnight I will go out into the midst of Egypt;”
\nThe friends say that Moses could be seen as a liar for inaccurate statements because it is impossible to determine the exact moment of midnight.
\nThere are three difficult questions. 1) Why Moses said ‘About midnight’, when Hashem<\/a> said ‘at midnight’. Moses wouldn’t be responsible if he were to quote Hashem<\/a> saying ‘at midnight’. Even if it didn’t happen at midnight, it would not be on him, because he said ‘Thus says YHVH<\/a>’.
\n2) Moses said that the firstborn of the maidservant would be killed but later it didn’t say so. Even the children of Israel<\/a> may say that Moses was lying because it didn’t happen as he said it would.
\n3) Moses quoted Hashem<\/a> as saying ‘About midnight’ and then it says ‘At midnight’, not ‘about midnight’ as Moses said.<\/p>\n

\nThe question that is heavier than what an animal can carry is why the killing of the firstborn was at night and not by day? and why did the weak behind the millstone die? This is a supernal<\/a> secret among the reapers of the field, meaning those who have merits to understand the ‘plants’ of the ‘Ohr Haganuz’, ‘Concealed Light’ that were planted in Malchut<\/a> that is called a ‘field’. And all is correct according to the faithful prophet, Moses.<\/p>\n
