118. כָל בְּכוֹר – אֲפִלּוּ דְּרָגוֹת עֶלְיוֹנוֹת וְתַחְתּוֹנוֹת נִשְׁבְּרוּ מִשִּׁלְטוֹנָם (מֵהִשְׁתַּלְשְׁלוּתָם), כָּל אוֹתָם שֶׁשּׁוֹלְטִים בַּחָכְמָה שֶׁלָּהֶם, שֶׁכָּתוּב בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם. וְכָל הַדְּרָגוֹת, הָעֶלְיוֹנוֹת וְהַתַּחְתּוֹנוֹת שֶׁנִּשְׁבְּרוּ מִשִּׁלְטוֹנָם (מֵהִשְׁתַּלְשְׁלוּתָם), כֻּלָּם נִרְאוֹת (נִרְמָזוֹת) בַּפָּסוּק, שֶׁכָּתוּב מִבְּכוֹר פַּרְעֹה הַיֹּשֵׁב עַל כִּסְאוֹ עַד בְּכוֹר הַשִּׁפְחָה אֲשֶׁר אַחַר הָרֵחָיִם וְכֹל בְּכוֹר בְּהֵמָה. הֲרֵי כֻּלָּם נִרְאִים בַּפָּסוּק.
\n119. סְתָמוֹ שֶׁל דָּבָר, מִבְּכוֹר פַּרְעֹה הַיֹּשֵׁב עַל כִּסְאוֹ – כֶּתֶר תַּחְתּוֹן שֶׁל שְׁלִיטַת הַמַּלְכוּת (מֵהַמַּלְכוּת) שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה. עַד בְּכוֹר הַשִּׁפְחָה – כֶּתֶר שְׂמֹאל מִתַּחְתֶּיהָ שֶׁל שְׁלִיטָה מֵאַחַר אַרְבַּע (מִכֶּתֶר אַחֵר) רֵחַיִם, אַרְבַּע מַחֲנוֹת. (מַשְׁמָע) מִשּׁוּם שֶׁכָּתוּב אַחַר הָרֵחָיִם, (וְלֹא מִן הָרֵחַיִם). וְכֹל בְּכוֹר בְּהֵמָה – תַּחְתּוֹנִים מִתַּחְתּוֹנִים, נְקֵבָה מִנְּקֵבוֹת, שֶׁנִּמְצְאוּ בָּאֲתוֹנוֹת בַּבְּהֵמוֹת וַחֲמוֹרִים, בִּגְדוֹלִים וּבִקְטַנִּים, וּמְקַבְּלִים מֵהֶם גְּבָרִים וּנְקֵבוֹת. עַד בְּכוֹר הַשְּׁבִי אֲשֶׁר בְּבֵית הַבּוֹר – אוֹתָם שֶׁיּוֹצְאִים מִשִּׁפְחָה, שֶׁבָּהֶם עוֹשִׂים לַאֲסִירִים שֶׁיִּשְׁתַּעְבְּדוּ בָהֶם לְעוֹלָמִים וְלֹא יֵצְאוּ לַחֵרוּת.
\n120. וּבְבִטְחוֹן הַדְּרָגוֹת הַלָּלוּ סֵרְבוּ הַמִּצְרִים, שֶׁבָּהֶם עָשׂוּ קֶשֶׁר לְיִשְׂרָאֵל שֶׁלֹּא יֵצְאוּ מֵעַבְדוּתָם לְעוֹלָמִים. וּבָזֶה נִרְאֵית הַגְּבוּרָה וְהַשִּׁלְטוֹן שֶׁל הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא, וְזִכְרוֹן זֶה לֹא יִכְלֶה מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל לְדוֹרֵי דוֹרוֹת. שֶׁאִם לֹא הָיָה כֹּחַ וּגְבוּרָה שֶׁל הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא, כָּל מַלְכֵי הָעַמִּים וְכָל מְכַשְּׁפֵי הָעוֹלָמוֹת וְחַכְמֵי הָעוֹלָמוֹת, לֹא יֵצְאוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל מִן הָעַבְדוּת, שֶׁהִתִּיר אֶת הַקְּשָׁרִים שֶׁלָּהֶם וְשָׁבַר אֶת כָּל אוֹתָם הַכְּתָרִים כְּדֵי לְהוֹצִיא אוֹתָם. עַל זֶה כָּתוּב (ירמיה י) מִי לֹא יִרָאֲךָ מֶלֶךְ הַגּוֹיִם כִּי לְךָ יָאָתָה כִּי בְכָל חַכְמֵי הַגּוֹיִם וּבְכָל מַלְכוּתָם מֵאֵין כָּמוֹךָ.<\/div>\n

Zohar Bo<\/strong>

\nThe firstborn is the aspect of Chokmah<\/a>. The killing of the firstborn tells us that upper and lower levels broke and Egypt lost their control over them, as it is written;
\nExodus 12:29<\/a> “וַיְהִי בַּחֲצִי הַלַּיְלָה וַיהוָה הִכָּה כָל בְּכוֹר בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם מִבְּכֹר פַּרְעֹה הַיֹּשֵׁב עַל כִּסְאוֹ עַד בְּכוֹר הַשְּׁבִי אֲשֶׁר בְּבֵית הַבּוֹר וְכֹל בְּכוֹר בְּהֵמָה.”
\n“And it came to pass at midnight that YHVH<\/a> struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of livestock.”
\nThe aspects of all levels are in this verse.<\/p>\n

\n‘the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne’ is the aspect of the control of Ketter of the Klipa<\/a> that receives from Malchut<\/a> that is above it. ‘the first-born of the maid-servant’ (Exodus 11:5<\/a>) is the aspect of the sefira on the left of the mill that represents four camps of the Klipot<\/a>. ‘the firstborn of livestock’ is a female level that is below the other lower levels described above. This level is the female aspect of the impure levels found in livestock.
\n‘the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon’ is the aspect of those who come out from the maid-servant and make magic to enslave the captives to work for them and forever lose their freedom.<\/p>\n

\nThe Egyptians relied on their spiritual levels and didn’t let the Israelites<\/a> go. They used their magic to keep them, slaves, forever. No magicians or kings in the world could have freed the Israelites<\/a> from slavery. The Holy One Blessed be He showed his might and control over everything. He broke all spiritual shackles the held the Israelites<\/a> in bondage by killing the firstborns that represent the ‘crowns’ (Keters) of the Klipa<\/a> <\/p>\n
