123. וְזֶהוּ עוֹד הַיּוֹם בְּנֹב, זֶהוּ יוֹם עֶלְיוֹן, וּמִיהוּ? זוֹ כְּנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל שֶׁאִבְּדָה אֶת הַשּׁוֹשְׁבִינִים שֶׁלָּהּ, אוֹתָהּ שֶׁנִּשְׁאֲרָה לְלֹא יָמִין [שֶׁהָיָה לוֹ] לְהִדָּבֵק בַּשְּׂמֹאל, שֶׁהַכֹּהֵן הוּא יָמִין, [וּמִשּׁוּם כָּךְ הָיָה לוֹ לְהִתְדַּבֵּק בַּשְׂמֹאל] וּמִשּׁוּם כָּךְ עוֹד הַיּוֹם בְּנֹב לַעֲמֹד.

Zohar Beshalach<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nAnother explanation for ‘As yet he will remain at Nob that day’ (Isaiah 10:32<\/a>) is that ‘that day’ is supernal<\/a> and represents the Shechina in Malchut<\/a> that lost her attendants, the priests<\/a>. Without them, she moved to the Left. The killing of Nob, the city of the priests<\/a>, raised a judgment that stands until it is corrected. We read that in Isaiah 10:34<\/a>
\n“וְנִקַּף סִבְכֵי הַיַּעַר בַּבַּרְזֶל וְהַלְּבָנוֹן בְּאַדִּיר יִפּוֹל.”
\n“He will cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, And Lebanon will fall by the Mighty One.”
\nLebanon is another name for the Holy Temple. It will fall because of the killing of the priests<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nIsaiah 10:29<\/a>
\n“עָבְרוּ מַעְבָּרָה גֶּבַע מָלוֹן לָנוּ חָרְדָה הָרָמָה גִּבְעַת שָׁאוּל נָסָה.”
\n“They have gone along the ridge, They have taken up lodging at Geba. Ramah was afraid, Gibeah of Saul has fled.”
\nHe explains here that Saul is mentioned here because he killed the priests<\/a> in Nob, and caused the removal of the Right arm from the world. Because of his sin, the people of his place fled from the Assyrian king.
\nThe man told them that the same negativity created when King Saul killed the priests<\/a> so the same happened on the way they just avoided. When the layman priests<\/a> killed the other priest that was spiritually higher than him, he created judgment on the road that made it a dangerous place to pass.
\nRabbi Yossi told Rabbi Chiya, this is a great man as I expected earlier.<\/p>\n

\nProverbs 3:13<\/a>
\n“אַשְׁרֵי אָדָם מָצָא חָכְמָה וְאָדָם יָפִיק תְּבוּנָה.”
\n“Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding;”
\nRabbi Yossi and Rabbi Chiya were happy to meet this man on their way. They said to him ‘Happy is the man’ is us that found you on the way, and learned some wisdom. ‘the man who gains understanding’ is our wish to wait for you and go together.
\nThis is a treasure from the Holy One Blessed be He that let the face of the Shechina to shine on our path, as it is written;
\nProverbs 4:18<\/a>
\n“וְאֹרַח צַדִּיקִים כְּאוֹר נֹגַהּ הוֹלֵךְ וָאוֹר עַד נְכוֹן הַיּוֹם.”
\n“But the path of the righteous is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.”<\/p>\n

\nThat man opened with the verse from Psalms 24:1<\/a>
\n“לְדָוִד מִזְמוֹר לַיהוָה הָאָרֶץ וּמְלוֹאָהּ תֵּבֵל וְיֹשְׁבֵי בָהּ.”
\n“A Psalm of David. The earth is YHVH<\/a>’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.”
\nHe says that in some places we read ‘לְדָוִד מִזְמוֹר’ ‘for David a Psalm’, and in some places ‘מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד’, ‘A Psalm of David’, and asks what is the difference? Then he answers that when it says ‘לְדָוִד מִזְמוֹר’ ‘for David a Psalm’ it indicates that the Psalm was made by David for the Congregation of Israel<\/a>, which is Shechina in Malchut<\/a>. When it says ‘מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד’ ‘A Psalm of David’ is when David refers to himself in the Psalm.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nRabbi Yossi and Rabbi Chiya were righteous and had merits to have protection wherever they go. Hashem<\/a> sent them a man to warn them from walking in a dangerous way. The man looked like a simple person but they were wise to wait for him without judging him by his appearance. Because of that approach, they were saved from harm. the man proved to be a great scholar and shared with them, words of the Torah.
\nThe world is full of negativity and judgments hang everywhere. These judgments are diffused only after they inflict the right amount of pain on people to satisfy the judgments.
\nTo have protection from judgments, we need to elevate our vessels to Chokamah (Wisdom) and Binah<\/a> (Understanding) through studies and good deeds and have the protection we need.<\/p>\n
