55. יְהוּדָה הִתְחִיל מִשְּׂמֹאל וְסָטָה לְיָמִין. הִתְחִיל מִשְּׂמֹאל, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁבָּא מִצַּד שְׂמֹאל, וְנִדְבַּק בְּיָמִין, וְהַמִּשְׁכָּן נַעֲשָׂה בַּצַּד הַזֶּה. הִתְחִיל מִצַּד שְׂמֹאל וְנִדְבַּק בְּצַד יָמִין. וְעַל זֶה בְּצַלְאֵל, שֶׁבָּא מֵהַצַּד שֶׁלּוֹ, עָשָׂה אֶת הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְהִתְתַּקֵּן אֶצְלוֹ. וַהֲרֵי פֵּרְשׁוּהָ שֶׁהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא רָצָה בּוֹ, וּבֵרֵר אוֹתוֹ מִכֻּלָּם לַמַּעֲשֶׂה הַזֶּה.
\n56. וְנָתַן לוֹ חָכְמָה וּתְבוּנָה וָדַעַת, כְּמוֹ שֶׁבֵּאֲרוּהָ, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁעִמּוֹ הָיָה בָּרִאשׁוֹנָה הַשְׂכֵּל הַלֵּב, שֶׁכָּתוּב (שמות לא) וּבְלֵב כָּל חֲכַם לֵב נָתַתִּי חָכְמָה. מִשּׁוּם שֶׁהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לֹא נוֹתֵן חָכְמָה אֶלָּא לְמִי שֶׁיֵּשׁ בּוֹ חָכְמָה, וּפֵרְשׁוּהָ הַחֲבֵרִים וְנִתְבָּאֵר, וְכֵן כְּמוֹ כֵן בְּצַלְאֵל. רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן אָמַר, בְּצַלְאֵל – שְׁמוֹ גָּרַם לוֹ, וְעַל חָכְמָתוֹ נִקְרָא כָּךְ, וְסוֹד הַמִּלָּה בְּצַלְאֵל – בְּצֵל אֵל.
\n57. פָּתַח וְאמַר, (שיר ב) כְּתַפּוּחַ בַּעֲצֵי הַיַּעַר כֵּן דּוֹדִי וְגוֹ’. בְּצִלּוֹ – הַיְנוּ בְּצַלְאֵל, שֶׁהוּא הִתְקִין הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְעָשָׂה אוֹתוֹ, שֶׁכָּתוּב חִמַּדְתִּי וְיָשַׁבְתִּי. שֶׁהַמִּשְׁכָּן נֶחְמָד לָשֶׁבֶת בּוֹ, שֶׁהוּא עשֶׂה חֶמְדָּה לִכְנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל, וּכְנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל יוֹשֶׁבֶת בְּצֵל הָאֵל. וְזֶהוּ בְּצַלְאֵל.<\/div>\n

Zohar Pekudei<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nBetzalel was from the tribe of Yehuda that starts on the Left, which is Malchut<\/a> and builds the Right.
\nThe Holy Tabernacle also started from the Left and clung to the Right. For these reasons, Betzalel was chosen by the HolyOne Blessed be He from among all Israel<\/a> to do the work of the Tabernacle.<\/p>\n

\nExodus 31:3<\/a>
\n“ וָאֲמַלֵּא אֹתוֹ, רוּחַ אֱלֹהִים, בְּחָכְמָה וּבִתְבוּנָה וּבְדַעַת, וּבְכָל-מְלָאכָה”
\n“And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,”
\nWisdom is Chokmah<\/a>, Understanding is Binah<\/a>, and knowledge is Da’at. <\/p>\n

Exodus 31:6<\/a>
\n“וַאֲנִי הִנֵּה נָתַתִּי אִתּוֹ אֵת אָהֳלִיאָב בֶּן אֲחִיסָמָךְ לְמַטֵּה דָן וּבְלֵב כָּל חֲכַם לֵב נָתַתִּי חָכְמָה וְעָשׂוּ אֵת כָּל אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִךָ.”
\n“And I, indeed I, have appointed with him Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and I have put wisdom in the all with wise hearts, that they may make all that I have commanded you:”
\nThe Holy One Blessed be He doesn’t give wisdom unless the person already has it.
\nBecause Betzalel already had wisdom, he received more wisdom from the Holy One.
\nRabbi Shimon said that Betzalel was called with this name because of his wisdom to make higher connections.<\/p>\n

\nSongs 2:3<\/a>
\n“כְּתַפּוּחַ בַּעֲצֵי הַיַּעַר כֵּן דּוֹדִי בֵּין הַבָּנִים בְּצִלּוֹ חִמַּדְתִּי וְיָשַׁבְתִּי וּפִרְיוֹ מָתוֹק לְחִכִּי.”
\n“Like an apple tree among the trees of the woods, So is my beloved among the sons. I sat down in his shade with great delight, And his fruit was sweet to my taste.”
\n‘In his shade’ is ‘בצלאל’ Betzalel. ‘Sat with great delight’ is the Holy Tabernacle that brings delight to Israel<\/a>, and the Shechina sits in the ‘shadow of God’ that is Betzalel. <\/p>\n
