124. רַבִּי יְהוּדָה פָּתַח, (תהלים קד) הַמְקָרֶה בַמַּיִם עֲלִיּוֹתָיו וְגוֹ’. כְּשֶׁבָּרָא הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא אֶת הָעוֹלָם, הוֹצִיא אוֹתוֹ מִתּוֹךְ מַיִם, וְסִדֵּר אוֹתוֹ עַל הַמַּיִם. מֶה עָשָׂה? חִלֵּק אֶת הַמַּיִם לִשְׁנַיִם, מַחֲצִית לְמַטָּה וּמַחֲצִית לְמַעְלָה, וְעָשָׂה מֵהֶם מַעֲשִׂים. מֵהַמַּחֲצִית הַתַּחְתּוֹנָה עָשָׂה וְתִקֵּן אֶת הָעוֹלָם הַזֶּה וְסִדֵּר אוֹתוֹ עַל הַמַּחֲצִית הַזֹּאת, וְתִקֵּן אוֹתוֹ לְמַעְלָה עֲלֵיהֶם, זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (שם כד) כִּי הוּא עַל יַמִּים יְסָדָהּ. וְאֶת הַמַּחֲצִית הָאַחֶרֶת הֶעֱלָה לְמַעְלָה וְסִדֵּר בּוֹ אֶת הַתִּקְרוֹת הָעֶלְיוֹנוֹת, זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב הַמְקָרֶה בַמַּיִם עֲלִיּוֹתָיו וְגוֹ’.
\n125. וְעָשָׂה רָקִיעַ בֵּין שְׁנֵי הַחֲצָאִים הַלָּלוּ, זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (בראשית א) יְהִי רָקִיעַ בְּתוֹךְ הַמָּיִם וְגוֹ’. וַעֲלֵיהֶם תִּקֵּן וְסִדֵּר עֶלְיוֹנִים קְדוֹשִׁים מִתּוֹךְ טִפּוֹת טִפּוֹת בְּרוּחַ שֶׁנִּגְזְרָה בְּתֹאַר (בְּמָאוֹר) (וְסִדֵּר מַלְאָכִים עֶלְיוֹנִים קְדוֹשִׁים מִתּוֹךְ רוּחַ שֶׁנִּגְזְרָה מִפִּיו), שֶׁכָּתוּב וּבְרוּחַ פִּיו כָּל צְבָאָם.
\n126. וּבְאֵלּוּ תִּקֵּן וְסִדֵּר הַמְזַמְּרִים אֶת תִּשְׁבַּחְתּוֹ בַּיּוֹם, וְהִתְעָרְבוּ בְשַׁלְהֲבוֹת אֵשׁ. וְאוֹתָם גְּדוּדֵי הַצְּבָאוֹת אוֹמְרִים שִׁירָה בַּיּוֹם, תִּשְׁבָּחוֹת בַּבֹּקֶר וּזְמִירוֹת בָּעֶרֶב. כְּשֶׁמַּגִּיעַ הַלַּיְלָה, כֻּלָּם מַפְסִיקִים אֶת הַשִּׁירָה. מֵעֲלֵיהֶם גְּדוּדֵי אֵשׁ בְּשַׁלְהֶבֶת חֲזָקָה עוֹמְדִים וּמְרִיחִים אֵשׁ אוֹכֶלֶת, וְחוֹזְרִים לִמְקוֹמָם.<\/div>\n

Psalm 104:3<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

“<\/span>הַמְקָרֶה<\/span> בַמַּיִם<\/span> עֲ‍לִיּוֹתָיו<\/span> הַשָּׂם<\/span> עָבִים<\/span> רְכוּבוֹ<\/span> הַמְהַלֵּךְ<\/span> עַל<\/span> כַּנְפֵי<\/span> רוּחַ<\/span>”<\/span><\/p>\n

“He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters, Who makes the clouds His chariot<\/a>, Who walks on the wings of the wind<\/span>.”<\/p>\n

Rabbi Yehuda says that when the holy one blessed be He created the world he took it out of water. He divided the water into two parts. One part below and one part above. From the lower part, he created this world and from the upper water, he created the world above. As it’s written psalm 24:2<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

“<\/span>כִּי<\/span> הוּא<\/span> עַל<\/span> יַמִּים<\/span> יְסָדָהּ<\/span> וְעַל<\/span> נְהָרוֹת<\/span> יְכוֹנְנֶהָ<\/span>.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“For He has founded it upon the seas And established it upon the waters.”<\/span><\/p>\n

#125<\/span><\/p>\n

Genesis 1:6<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

“וַיֹּאמֶר<\/span> אֱלֹהִים<\/span> יְהִי<\/span> רָקִיעַ<\/span> בְּתוֹךְ<\/span> הַמָּיִם<\/span> וִיהִי<\/span> מַבְדִּיל<\/span> בֵּין<\/span> מַיִם<\/span> לָמָיִם”<\/span><\/p>\n

Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters and let it divide the waters from the waters<\/span><\/p>\n

He made the heavens between the upper and lower and arranged supernal<\/a> angels from the decrees formed from the vapor of his mouth. Psalm 33:6<\/a> <\/span><\/p>\n

בִּדְבַר<\/span> יְהוָה<\/span> שָׁמַיִם<\/span> נַעֲשׂוּ<\/span> וּבְרוּחַ<\/span> פִּיו<\/span> כָּל<\/span> צְבָאָם<\/span><\/p>\n

By the word of YHVH<\/a> were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth<\/span><\/p>\n

#126<\/span><\/p>\n

With these angels, he established and arranged those who praise him during the day. They get mixed with flames of fire. These armies sing by day, praises in the morning, and songs in the evening. They all stop their singing when night comes, but there are other angels that sing at night because the angels of the day don’t sing at night. Above them, there are regiments standing in strong flames of fire that consumes<\/span><\/p>\n
