96. וְאִישׁ כִּי יִמָּרֵט רֹאשׁוֹ וְגוֹ’. רַבִּי חִיָּיא פָּתַח וְאָמַר, (קהלת ב) וְרָאִיתִי אָנִי שֶׁיֵּשׁ יִתְרוֹן לַחָכְמָה מִן הַסִּכְלוּת וְגוֹ’. בְּכַמָּה מְקוֹמוֹת הִסְתַּכַּלְתִּי בְּדִבְרֵי שְׁלֹמֹה הַמֶּלֶךְ וְהִשְׁגַּחְתִּי בַחָכְמָה הָרַבָּה שֶׁלּוֹ, וְהִסְתִּיר דְּבָרָיו בְּתוֹכוֹ, לְתוֹךְ הַהֵיכָל הַקָּדוֹשׁ. בְּפָסוּק זֶה יֵשׁ לְהִסְתַּכֵּל, לָמָּה אָמַר וְרָאִיתִי אָנִי? וְכִי שְׁאָר בְּנֵי הָעוֹלָם לֹא יוֹדְעִים וְלֹא רוֹאִים אֶת זֶה? אֲפִלּוּ מִי שֶׁלֹּא יוֹדֵעַ חָכְמָה מִיָּמָיו וְלֹא הִשְׁגִּיחַ בָּהּ, יוֹדֵעַ אֶת זֶה שֶׁיֵּשׁ יִתְרוֹן לַחָכְמָה מִן הַסִּכְלוּת כִּיתְרוֹן הָאוֹר מִן הַחֹשֶׁךְ, וְהוּא מְשַׁבֵּחַ אֶת עַצְמוֹ וְאוֹמֵר רָאִיתִי אָנִי?

Zohar Tazria<\/strong>

\nEcclesiastes 2:13<\/a>
\n“וְרָאִיתִי אָנִי שֶׁיֵּשׁ יִתְרוֹן לַחָכְמָה מִן הַסִּכְלוּת כִּיתְרוֹן הָאוֹר מִן הַחֹשֶׁךְ.”
\n“Then I saw that wisdom excels folly As light excels darkness.”
\nRabbi Chiya quotes this verse and says that he looked in several places in the wisdom of King Solomon and saw that he concealed his words in the Holy palace. We look at this verse and ask ourselves why he said “Then I saw”, when any person in the world even without wisdom can tell that wisdom is better than foolishness as light is better than darkness. Why King Solomon praised himself saying “I saw”.<\/p>\n

\nWe learned that King Solomon had seven levels of wisdom that correspond to the seven lower sefirot from Chessed<\/a> to Malchut<\/a>. That is the secret of the lower wisdom, which is the level of Solomon. The secret is that the six days above are the six sefirot of Zeir Anpin<\/a> and the seventh above them is Binah<\/a>.
\nKing Solomon sits on a throne of six levels as we read in
\n1 Chronicle 29:23<\/a>
\n“וַיֵּשֶׁב שְׁלֹמֹה עַל כִּסֵּא יְהוָה לְמֶלֶךְ תַּחַת דָּוִיד אָבִיו וַיַּצְלַח וַיִּשְׁמְעוּ אֵלָיו כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל.”
\n“Then Solomon sat on the throne of YHVH<\/a> as king instead of David his father, and prospered, and all Israel<\/a> obeyed him.”
\nThere are seven crowns above for the seven sefirot and there are seven names to Solomon corresponding to the seven sefirot to express the Holy Wisdom. For that reason, he was called in seven names; Solomon, Yedidya, Agur, Ben Yaka, Lemuel, Itiel, and Kohelet. <\/p>\n
