134. אָמַר רַבִּי יוֹסֵי, לָמָּה לָנוּ לְהַטְרִיחַ כָּל זֶה, מִקְרָא שָׁלֵם הוּא, שֶׁהֲרֵי בַּלַּיְלָה הַזֶּה הַזִּוּוּג הָעֶלְיוֹן הַקָּדוֹשׁ מִתְעוֹרֵר וְנִמְצָא. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב הוּא הַלַּיְלָה הַזֶּה לַה’ שִׁמֻּרִים. מַה זֶּה שִׁמֻּרִים? שְׁנַיִם, הַזִּוּוּג שֶׁל הַלְּבָנָה עִם הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ. לְכָל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְדֹרֹתָם, שֶׁהֲרֵי מִכָּאן וָהָלְאָה נִתְאַחֲדוּ וְנִקְשְׁרוּ בַקֶּשֶׁר שֶׁל הַשֵּׁם הַקָּדוֹשׁ וְיָצְאוּ מֵרָשׁוּת אַחֶרֶת. מִשּׁוּם כָּךְ בְּאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר מְתַקְּנִים אֶת עַצְמָם, וּמְבַעֲרִים חָמֵץ מִבֵּינֵיהֶם וְנִכְנָסִים לָרָשׁוּת הַקְּדוֹשָׁה, וְאָז מִתְעַטְּרִים חָתָן וְכַלָּה בְּעַטְרוֹת הָאֵם הָעֶלְיוֹנָה, וְצָרִיךְ אָדָם לְהַרְאוֹת אֶת עַצְמוֹ בֶּן חוֹרִין.
\n135. אָמַר רַבִּי יוֹסֵי, אַרְבַּע הַכּוֹסוֹת הַלָּלוּ שֶׁל אוֹתוֹ הַלַּיְלָה לָמָּה? אָמַר רַבִּי אַבָּא, הֲרֵי פֵּרְשׁוּהָ הַחֲבֵרִים, כְּנֶגֶד אַרְבַּע גְּאֻלּוֹת. אֲבָל יָפֶה הוּא בְּסִפְרוֹ שֶׁל רַב יֵיסָא סָבָא, שֶׁאָמַר, הוֹאִיל וְהַזִּוּוּג הַקָּדוֹשׁ נִמְצָא בַּלַּיְלָה הַזֶּה בְּכָל הַצְּדָדִים, וְהַזִּוּוּג הוּא בְּאַרְבָּעָה קְשָׁרִים, שֶׁהֵם אַרְבַּע דְּרָגוֹת, וְלֹא נִפְרָדִים זֶה מִזֶּה, כְּשֶׁהַזִּוּוּג הַזֶּה נִמְצָא, וְאָנוּ בְשִׂמְחָתָם מִתְעוֹרְרִים, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁהֲרֵי זָכִינוּ בָהֶם, שֶׁמִּי שֶׁאוֹחֵז בָּזֶה – זוֹכֶה בַכֹּל. וְעַל כֵּן הִשְׁתַּנָּה הַלַּיְלָה הַזֶּה מִכָּל שְׁאָר הַלֵּילוֹת, וּצְרִיכִים לַעֲשׂוֹת שֵׁם בַּכֹּל וְלִשְׂמֹחַ בַּלַּיְלָה הַזֶּה, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁשִּׂמְחָה הִיא לְמַעְלָה וּלְמַטָּה.<\/div>\n

Zohar Emor<\/strong><\/p>\n

Exodus 12:42<\/a>
\n“לֵיל שִׁמֻּרִים הוּא לַיהוָה לְהוֹצִיאָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם הוּא הַלַּיְלָה הַזֶּה לַיהוָה שִׁמֻּרִים לְכָל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְדֹרֹתָם.”
\n“It is a night of solemn observances to YHVH<\/a> for bringing them out of the land of Egypt. This is that night of YHVH<\/a>, a solemn observance for all the children of Israel<\/a> throughout their generations.”<\/p>\n

\nRabbi Yossi says that the verse above brings the complete understanding of the event happening on the fourteenth of Nisan.
\nThe verse uses ‘observances’, which is a plural form to refer to the two that come for unification, the sun and the moon, Zeir Anpin<\/a> and Malchut<\/a>.
\n“solemn observance for all the children of Israel<\/a> throughout their generations” means that from this point on the children of Israel<\/a> are united with a bond to the Holy Name. They went out of the rule of the other-side<\/a> and for that reason, on the fourteenth they remove and burn the Chametz and enter the Holy dominance.
\nThen the bride and groom are crowned with the crowns of the supernal<\/a> Mother<\/a> that is Binah<\/a>. A man needs to show himself as a free person because the Mochin<\/a> of the supernal<\/a> Mother<\/a> is called freedom.<\/p>\n

\nRabbi Yossi asks why we drink four cups on that night. Rabbi Aba answers that the friends explained that the cups correspond to the four redemptions and it is beautifully explained in the book of Rav Yeva Sava. He said that the unification on that night involved all sides, and four levels, Chokmah<\/a> and Binah<\/a>, Tiferet<\/a> and Malchut<\/a>. Because of that, all rise up with happiness and drink four cups because we earned it.
\nThose who connect to the illumination that comes from this unification, earn the four levels of Chokmah<\/a> and Binah<\/a>, Tiferet<\/a>, and Malchut<\/a>.
\nAnd so this night is different from all other nights and we need to connect the Holy name in everything and rejoice in this night because the joy is on the upper and lower levels.<\/p>\n
