260. (וְעַל זֶה צֶדֶק אֵינוֹ כֶּאֱמוּנָה) אֱמוּנָה, בְּשָׁעָה שֶׁמִּתְחַבֶּרֶת בָּהּ (אָז הוּא) אֱמֶת, לְשִׂמְחָה. וְכָל הַפָּנִים מְאִירוֹת, אָז נִקְרֵאת אֱמוּנָה. וְיֵשׁ וַתְּרָנוּת לַכֹּל, וְכָל הַנְּשָׁמוֹת עוֹלוֹת, מִתְחַיְּבוֹת בְּכַמָּה חִיּוּבִים שֶׁל רְשָׁעִים רָעִים, וְכֵיוָן שֶׁהֵן עוֹלוֹת בְּפִקָּדוֹן (מַקְדִּים), הוּא מַחֲזִירָן בְּרַחֲמִים וְחָס עֲלֵיהֶן, וְאָז נִקְרֵאת אֱמוּנָה, וְאֵין אֱמוּנָה לְלֹא אֱמֶת.<\/div>\n
261. כָּעֵת אֵזוֹר מָתְנָיו וְאֵזוֹר חֲלָצָיו. מַה כָּאן שְׁנֵי אֵזוֹרִים? וּמָתְנַיִם וַחֲלָצַיִם, אַף עַל גַּב שֶׁהֵן אַחַת, שְׁתֵּי דְרָגוֹת הֵן, אַחַת לְמַעְלָה וְאַחַת לְמַטָּה. לְמַעְלָה בְּרֵאשִׁית נִקְרָא מָתְנַיִם, וּלְמַטָּה בַּסּוֹף נִקְרָא חֲלָצַיִם, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (ישעיה לב) וַחֲגוֹרָה עַל חֲלָצָיִם. בַּסּוֹף, עַל רֹאשׁ הַיְרֵכַיִם. כְּשֶׁאִשָּׁה בְצַעַר, מְנַתְּקִים אוֹתָם חֲלָצַיִם מֵרֹאשׁ הַיְרֵכַיִם, וְשָׂמָה יָדֶיהָ בִּכְאֵב עֲלֵיהֶם.<\/div>\n
262. וְלָכֵן לִגְבוּרָה וְלִקְרָב – צֶדֶק אֵזוֹר מָתְנָיו, וְכָךְ צָרִיךְ. לְרַחֲמָנוּת וּלְטוֹב – אֱמוּנָה אֵזוֹר חֲלָצָיו. בְּדַרְגָּה אַחַת יָדוּן אֶת הָעוֹלָם וְשׁוֹלֵט לִשְׁנֵי צְדָדִים, אֶחָד לְרַחֲמִים לְיִשְׂרָאֵל, וְאֶחָד דִּין לִשְׁאָר הָעַמִּים.<\/div>\n

\nWhen Zer Anpin with the seal of Truth, ‘אמת’ unifies with Malchutall vessels shine and Malchut<\/a> is called ‘אמונה<\/a>’ ‘Faith<\/a>.’ Then there is forgiveness of all iniquities. The souls of the wicked ascend for the night sleep with their ‘debts.’ If they deposit their soul before sleep, meaning saying the verse from Psalms 31:6<\/a>
\n“בְּיָדְךָ אַפְקִיד רוּחִי פָּדִיתָה אוֹתִי יְהוָה אֵל אֱמֶת.”
\n“Into Your hand, I commit my soul; You have redeemed me, YHVH<\/a> God of truth.”
\nThe soul returned to them with mercy and compassion because of their faith<\/a> and the truth of the connection to Zeir Anpin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nThe belt of his waist and the belt of his loins are on the same level, but one is above the other. Above is the waist, and the bottom is called loins as we read in Isaiah 32:11<\/a> “and gird sackcloth upon your loins.”
\nWhen a woman in labor pain, the level of loins is disconnected from the top of the thighs, and the woman puts her hands on her thighs because of the pain. <\/p>\n

\nBecause of that, for strength and war, it is properly said, “Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins” (Isaiah 11:5<\/a>), referring to the Mashiach. With strength and Mercy, he will bring justice to the world, Malchut<\/a>. The faith<\/a> from the waist is the aspect of Mercy for the children of Israel<\/a>, and the lower part is judgment for the rest of the world.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nThe verse from Psalms 31:6<\/a> is the last words we say in the bedtime Shema<\/a>. When we say it, we deposit the soul into the hands of the Creator and because he is faithful to us, our trust in him guarantees that he will return the soul to us when we wake up even if some are wicked.<\/p>\n
