314. מִי שֶׁמִּשְׁתַּדֵּל בָּהּ, מַה כָּתוּב בּוֹ? (תהלים א) כִּי אִם בְּתוֹרַת ה’ חֶפְצוֹ וּבְתוֹרָתוֹ יֶהְגֶּה יוֹמָם וָלָיְלָה, וְהָיָה כְּעֵץ. לָמָּה זֶה סָמוּךְ לָזֶה? אֶלָּא מִי שֶׁמִּשְׁתַּדֵּל בַּתּוֹרָה יוֹמָם וָלַיְלָה, לֹא יִהְיֶה כְעֵץ יָבֵשׁ, אֶלָּא כְּעֵץ שָׁתוּל עַל פַּלְגֵי מָיִם. מָה אִילָן יֵשׁ בּוֹ שָׁרָשִׁים, וְיֵשׁ בּוֹ קְלִפּוֹת, וְיֵשׁ בּוֹ מֹחַ, וְיֵשׁ בּוֹ עֲנָפִים, וְיֵשׁ בּוֹ עָלִים, וְיֵשׁ בּוֹ פְּרָחִים, וְיֵשׁ בּוֹ פְּרִי – שִׁבְעָה סוּגִים אֵלּוּ עוֹלִים לְשִׁבְעָה עָשָׂר, לְשִׁבְעִים, גַּם דִּבְרֵי תוֹרָה יֵשׁ בָּהֶם פְּשַׁט הַמִּקְרָא, דְּרָשׁ, רֶמֶז שֶׁרוֹמֵז חָכְמָה, גִּימַטְרִיָּאוֹת, סוֹדוֹת טְמִירִים, סוֹדוֹת נִסְתָּרִים אֵלּוּ עַל אֵלּוּ, פָּסוּל וְכָשֵׁר, טָמֵא וְטָהוֹר, אִסּוּר וְהֶתֵּר. מִכָּאן וָהָלְאָה מִתְפַּשְּׁטִים הָעֲנָפִים לְכָל צַד, וְהָיָה כְּעֵץ וַדַּאי. וְאִם לֹא – אֵינוֹ חָכָם בְּחָכְמָה.<\/div>\n

\nDeuteronomy 20:19<\/a>
\n“כִּי תָצוּר אֶל עִיר יָמִים רַבִּים לְהִלָּחֵם עָלֶיהָ לְתָפְשָׂהּ לֹא תַשְׁחִית אֶת עֵצָהּ לִנְדֹּחַ עָלָיו גַּרְזֶן כִּי מִמֶּנּוּ תֹאכֵל וְאֹתוֹ לֹא תִכְרֹת כִּי הָאָדָם עֵץ הַשָּׂדֶה לָבֹא מִפָּנֶיךָ בַּמָּצוֹר.”
\n“When you besiege a city for a long time, while making war against it to take it, you shall not destroy its trees by wielding an ax against them; if you can eat of them, do not cut them down to use in the siege, for the tree of the field is man’s food.”
\nRabbi Pinchas<\/a> quotes the above and says how good are the ways and paths of the Torah. In everything we find in the Torah is good advice for the people. Also, precious stones shine in every direction. There is nothing in the Torah that doesn’t have in it candles that illuminate in different directions. This verse has a simple meaning, a deeper study, and supernal<\/a> wisdom to warn those who need it. Happiness is the lot of a person who makes efforts in the study of the Torah. <\/p>\n

\nOn those who put efforts in the study of Torah, it is written; Psalm 1:2<\/a>,3
\n“כִּי אִם בְּתוֹרַת יְהוָה חֶפְצוֹ וּבְתוֹרָתוֹ יֶהְגֶּה יוֹמָם וָלָיְלָה.”
\n“וְהָיָה כְּעֵץ שָׁתוּל עַל פַּלְגֵי מָיִם אֲשֶׁר פִּרְיוֹ יִתֵּן בְּעִתּוֹ וְעָלֵהוּ לֹא יִבּוֹל וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר יַעֲשֶׂה יַצְלִיחַ.”
\n“But his delight is in the Torah of YHVH<\/a>, And in His law (Torah) he meditates day and night.”
\n“He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.”
\n‘He shall be like a tree is said immediately after the action of studying Torah. It tells us that those who study day and night won’t be like a dry tree but like a tree planted by the river. A tree has roots, tree bark (Klipa<\/a> in Hebrew), brain (inner essence of the tree), branches, leaves, flowers, and fruits. Seven types times ten comes to seventy. It’s the secret of the seven sefirot that each included from 10 Sefirot. Similar to words of Torah has a simple meaning, study, clues that imply wisdom, numerical values, hidden secrets, concealed secrets, all in layers one above the other, Invalid and kosher, unclean and pure, forbidden and permissible. From that on, branches spread to every side, and the one who studies the deeper levels is like a tree. Those who do not reach the level of the tree don’t have a part in this wisdom.<\/p>\n
