Zohar Haazinu<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA wise healer needs to help the sick person and try to heal his body. If he can’t, he heals his soul. The Holy One Blessed be He would bless the healer in this world and the world to come.
\n(Up to here, the text is from the book of the healer name Kartana) <\/p>\n

\nRabbi Elazar said that he didn’t hear of Kartana, the healer, and his book until now, except for one time he heard from a merchant that heard from his father about a healer in his days. That healer could look at a sick person in his sickbed and tell who is alive and who is dead.
\nThe people said that he is a true Tzadik who is careful with his actions and fear committing sins. He would give the sick anything he needs. When needed, he would buy and give the sick on his own. The people said that there are no wise people in the world like him. With his prayers, he would do more than he could do with his hands. Rabbi Elazar says that it seems to him that this person is Kartana, the healer. <\/p>\n

Lesson;
\n“The healer could do with his prayers more than he could do with his hands.”
\nThis is an important teaching. Hashem<\/a> is our healer because he provides the Light that heals. A physician is just a tool and a channel for the Light of healing. If the body, meaning that the person is too deep in the darkness of the physical world, then he could be considered dead. The sages (Sanhedrin<\/a> 91a) say that the wicked are called dead while alive in this world.
\nIf there is an opening for the Light in the sick person, then the healer can pray, and the Light of healing would penetrate the soul of a person and heal him.
\nI was asked by a friend how to be a kabbalist healer. My simple answer was ‘Be a Kabbalist!’.
\nKartana was a Tzadik and wise (connected to Chokmah<\/a>). He could channel the Light of healing easily to the sick. As we cleanse ourselves and grow our vessels with the Light of the Torah and Zohar studies, our prayers have a greater ability to channel light for ourselves and to others. <\/p>\n
