\nThe separation from the other side<\/a> is always done on the second, which is the Left line<\/a>. The Havdalah<\/a> after Shabbat is to separate the Sitra Achra<\/a> that comes from the Left line<\/a>.
\nGevurah<\/a> and anger awakened on the Left at the beginning of the division, and peace had not yet been restored. At that time, Gehennam<\/a> was created. Then came the creation of all the angels on the Left that go against the decisions and control of their master, the Holy One Blessed be He that is the middle line<\/a>. Since they come from the Left, fire can burn them.
\nSimilarly, Korach that came from the left fell and burnt in Gehennam<\/a> like the angels that get burnt in the fire of the Dinur<\/a> river.<\/p>\n

\n“וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים יְהִי רָקִיעַ בְּתוֹךְ הַמָּיִם וִיהִי מַבְדִּיל בֵּין מַיִם לָמָיִם.”
\n“Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
\nThis command caused the lower and upper water to separate. The lower firmament expanded and separated from the upper water. The upper water expanded and separated from the lower water by the firmament.
\nBinah<\/a> is called water the sefirot of Keter<\/a>, Chokmah<\/a>, Binah<\/a>, Tiferet<\/a> (Z”A), and Malchut<\/a> are the five letters of the name אלהים (ELHYM). God’s saying, “Let there be a firmament,” means that the firmament comes between the water, which is the middle letter ה H of the name that comes under the letters אל EL. These two letters represent Keter<\/a> and Chokmah<\/a> that expand from the firmament and above it in the secret of upper water and Chassadim<\/a>. The three letters הי”ם (HYM) are for Binah<\/a>, Tiferet<\/a> (Z”A), and Malchut<\/a>. They expand downward the firmament in the secret of the lower water. The letters אל EL of אלהים ELHYM that from the firmament and above are on the Right side that represents Chessed<\/a>.
\nBecause of the firmament, the name אל EL expanded and separated from the water of Binah<\/a> to become אל גדול ‘great EL’. אל EL is the name that represents Chessed<\/a>. The three letters הי”ם HYM that are from the firmament and down return to complete the letters אל EL and become אלהים (ELHYM).
\nBecause the waters come from Binah<\/a> that is the aspect of the upper three sefirot, the two parts are called גדול ‘great’. אל גדול ‘Great El ’, and הים הגדול ‘the great sea’.<\/p>\n

\nThe Zohar reveals the creation process during the saying\/command, “Let there be…”.
\nThe name of the Sefira of Chessed<\/a> used to be ‘גדולה’ ‘greatness,’ pronounced “Gedulah.” It appears in old drawings of the ten sefirot.
