Zohar Beresheet<\/strong>
\n#85
\nThere are two Holy chariots related to two unifications on the upper and lower parts of Atzilut<\/a>. The supernal<\/a> chariot<\/a> was made from the unification of the upper three sefirot with Chessed<\/a>, Gevurah<\/a>, and the top part of Tiferet<\/a> of Zeir Anpin<\/a> of Atzilut<\/a>. This chariot<\/a> is used by Binah<\/a> and it has the four faces of man, Lion, Ox, and Eagle in that order. They represent the complete name YHVH<\/a>.
\nThe lower chariot<\/a> has the three letters, YHV, of the holy name. Its unification with the lower part of Tiferet<\/a>, Netzach<\/a>, and Hod<\/a>. The faces of this chariot<\/a> are Ox, Eagle, and Lion. The face of the man is the secret of the lower H of the name. The Light of Chokmah<\/a> is revealed with the Lower chariot<\/a> when there is unification with Malchut<\/a>. (References: Teruma #79-118, Vayikra #1-#25)
\nBecause the lower chariot<\/a> lacks the face of Man, they need to ascend to the face of the man in the supernal<\/a> chariot<\/a>. The Ox that is on the Left, ascends to it, and makes a connection to the Right line, and comes down with the colors of White from the Right and Red from its own Left. This connection to the Right sweetened the judgments on the Left and the Ox brings down the letters אל which is the holy name of Chessed<\/a> and the Right.<\/p>\n

\nThe Eagle ascends to the face of a man and another name rises from the two faces of man and eagle. The color from the Right is white and the eagle is green, a color that represents the middle line<\/a> of the animal creatures below. The unification above draws the name גדו”ל that means ‘Great’. While the Ox can be only on the Right, the Eagle connects to both sides and is able to draw the Light of Chokmah<\/a> through the Right line of Chessed<\/a> to the lower levels. <\/p>\n

\nThe Lion that has the aspect of the Right and Chassadim<\/a> ascends to the face of man. Another name rose toward him to receive strength and connect to Gevurah<\/a>. This name is גבו”ר and it means ‘Mighty’. After the Lion had this connection he returned to the Nukva<\/a> of Zeir Anpin<\/a> to establish the attributes of the name גבו”ר and behave accordingly on the Right side.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nThe Zohar reveals the secret of forming the upper worlds, from Atzilut<\/a> (Emanation<\/a>) that is the highest world to B’riah(Creation), Yetzirah(Formation), and Asiya(Action).
\nThe Holy Ari drew detailed explanations of how the Tree of Life<\/a> was formed from these Zohar sections. You can see that the Aramaic text and the Hebrew translation have few words, and Rabbi Ashlag explains the spiritual process in detail.
\nJust by reading the Zohar text and the commentary, we make a spiritual connection to the upper worlds and the moment of Creation. Even if we don’t understand everything, the higher spiritual connection of the text benefits us greatly. <\/p>\n
