113. וְאִם תֹּאמַר, [הֲרֵי] נֹחַ וּמִי שֶׁהָיָה עִמּוֹ [נִצְּלוּ – הֲרֵי] נִסְתָּר מִן הָעַיִן הָיָה, שֶׁלֹּא נִרְאֶה. וְעַל זֶה כָּל מַה שֶּׁנִּמְצָא בָּעוֹלָם הִשְׁמִיד אוֹתוֹ, וְעַל זֶה וַה’ בְּגִלּוּי, וְלֹא הִשְׁמִיד הַכֹּל. אֱלֹהִים צָרִיךְ הַסְתָּרָה, וְצָרִיךְ [אָדָם] לְהִשָּׁמֵר, שֶׁהֲרֵי הַכֹּל מַשְׁמִיד, וְעַל זֶה אֱלֹהִים לְבַדּוֹ הָיָה.

\nNoach and all that were with him were saved from the destruction because they were hidden in the Ark. The force of destruction that comes from the name ‘אֱלֹהִים’ ‘ELHYM’ acts on what can be seen to the eyes as it was during the Flood.
\nThe force coming from the name יהוה YHVH<\/a> doesn’t destroy all that is seen to it, as it was with the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. ELHYM has aspect of the Nukva<\/a> by herself, without YHVH<\/a>, Zeir Anpin<\/a>, that is mercy.<\/p>\n

\nPsalm 29:10<\/a>
\n“יְהוָה לַמַּבּוּל יָשָׁב וַיֵּשֶׁב יְהוָה מֶלֶךְ לְעוֹלָם”
\n“YHVH<\/a> sat enthroned at the Flood, And YHVH<\/a> sat as King forever.”
\nThe secret revealed in that verse tells that YHVH<\/a> sat alone and didn’t join the force of judgment that acted during the Flood. We learned that ‘sat’ is alone from the verse (Leviticus 13:46<\/a>) “בָּדָד יֵשֵׁב מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה מוֹשָׁבוֹ” “He shall sit alone; his dwelling shall be outside the camp.”
\nThe Flood was all judgment, without mercy.<\/p>\n

\nGenesis 8:1<\/a> “וַיִּזְכֹּר אֱלֹהִים אֶת נֹחַ” “Then God (ELHYM) remembered Noah”
\nNoach was hidden from the eye during the Flood and the destruction of the world. Only after the Flood, God remembered Noach, who was hidden and safe during the Flood.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nThe Zohar teaches us that when there is a force of destruction around us, we need to ‘hide’.
\nThe protection of the ‘Ark’ is the Zohar. Our studies surround us with Light of protection that push away darkness.<\/p>\n

\nGenesis 7:1<\/a>
\n“וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה לְנֹחַ, בֹּא-אַתָּה וְכָל-בֵּיתְךָ אֶל-הַתֵּבָה”
\n“Then YHVH<\/a> said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and all your household”
\nRabbi Shimon quotes this verse and says that God could protect Noah anywhere he wanted and bring the flood onto the rest of the world. Rabbi Shimon explains that because the angel of death<\/a> was in the world, Noah needed to be protected in a closed area so there would be no direct connection with him. For that reason, Lot was told not to look back at Sodom and Gomorrah.
\nGenesis 19:17<\/a>
\n“ וַיְהִי כְהוֹצִיאָם אֹתָם הַחוּצָה, וַיֹּאמֶר הִמָּלֵט עַל-נַפְשֶׁךָ–אַל-תַּבִּיט אַחֲרֶיךָ, וְאַל-תַּעֲמֹד בְּכָל-הַכִּכָּר: הָהָרָה הִמָּלֵט, פֶּן-תִּסָּפֶה”
\n“When they had brought them outside, one said, “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you, and do not stay anywhere in the valley; escape to the mountains, or you will be swept away.””

\nGod closes Noah in the Ark to protect him from the angel of death<\/a> that was roaming the world.
\nThe eyes are the highest sense in the body. It operates on pure energy. Whatever we see translates into an electrical current that affects our brain. Negative images and situations connect us to their source, which is negative.
\nWhat we see can bring us joy, pleasures, also disgust, and sickness. Bringing back negative memories also connects us to the original events and the feelings we experienced during that time. We should collect in our brain only positive experiences.<\/p>\n
