David said to him, then examine me, test me, my guts, and my heart.<br>\nSince David did the relation with Batsheva (2 Samuel chapters 11,12), David remembered what he said to the Holy One Blessed be He.<br>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sefaria.org\/Psalm.17.3?lang=bi&amp;with=all&amp;lang2=en\" target=\"_blank\">Psalm 17:3<\/a> (The standard English translations of this verse try to make logical sense but are mostly wrong. King David&rsquo;s expression in the book of Psalms is beyond a logical language. It has spiritual connections and secrets. We better accept small challenges to avoid greater ones. When we choose to climb small steps, we avoid the difficulties of climbing higher and complicated steps later.<br>\nIf we miss a test, we ask for forgiveness and guidance while moving forward. <\/p>\n<p>We live in challenging times. People feel it on different levels.  Some less, some more, some go through challenging situations, feeling the walls closing around them.<br>\nNo matter how dark it is around us, we must live with the certainty that the Light is about to appear. If not the next minute, then the next hour, day, week, month, year, even a lifetime. Time is insignificant when we keep pushing forward toward the Light because our work in this world is for the soul to make us closer to the Light.
