128. רַבִּי יְהוּדָה אָמַר, וַהֲרֵי שָׁנִינוּ שֶׁעַל שִׁבְעָה עַמּוּדִים הָעוֹלָם עוֹמֵד, כַּכָּתוּב (שם ט) חָצְבָה עַמּוּדֶיהָ שִׁבְעָה. אָמַר לוֹ רַבִּי יוֹסֵי, כָּךְ הוּא וַדַּאי, אֲבָל [כָּאן] כָּל הָאֲחֵרִים בַּשְּׁבִיעִי הֵם עוֹמְדִים, שֶׁהוּא סֶמֶךְ שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם, וְהוּא צַדִּיק, וְזֶה מַשְׁקֶה [אֶת הָעוֹלָם] וּמַרְוֶה אֶת הָעוֹלָם [מִן הַכֹּל] וְזָן לַכֹּל, וְעָלָיו כָּתוּב (ישעיה ג) אִמְרוּ צַדִּיק כִּי טוֹב כִּי פְרִי מַעַלְלֵיהֶם יֹאכֵלוּ, וְכָתוּב (תהלים קמה) טוֹב ה’ לַכֹּל וְרַחֲמָיו עַל כָּל מַעֲשָׂיו.
\n129. אָמַר רַבִּי יִצְחָק, הֲרֵי כָּתוּב (בראשית ב) וְנָהָר יֹצֵא מֵעֵדֶן לְהַשְׁקוֹת אֶת הַגָּן. זֶה הוּא הָעַמּוּד שֶׁהָעוֹלָם עוֹמֵד עָלָיו וְהוּא מַשְׁקֶה לַגָּן [הָעֵדֶן], וְהַגָּן נִשְׁקֶה מִמֶּנּוּ, וּמִמֶּנּוּ עוֹשֶׂה פֵרוֹת. וְכָל הַפֵּרוֹת פּוֹרְחִים בָּעוֹלָם וְהֵם הַקִּיּוּם שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם, הַקִּיּוּם שֶׁל הַתּוֹרָה. וּמִי הֵם? נִשְׁמוֹת הַצַּדִּיקִים שֶׁהֵם פְּרִי מַעֲשָׂיו שֶׁל הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nRabbi Yehuda quoting Rabbi Yitzchak, saying, we learned that the world stands on seven pillars that are the seven lower sefirot Chessed<\/a> to Malchut<\/a> and not on the righteous alone, as it is written;
\nProverbs 9:1<\/a>
\n“חָכְמוֹת בָּנְתָה בֵיתָהּ חָצְבָה עַמּוּדֶיהָ שִׁבְעָה.”
\n“Wisdom has built her house; She has hewn out her seven pillars;”
\nRabbi Yossi said, indeed it is so, but all the other pillars supported by the power of the seventh one that brings water to the whole world. He is called righteous, Tzadik, that is Yessod<\/a> of Zeir Anpin<\/a>. He waters all and quenches the world that is the Nukva<\/a>. He nourishes all the worlds. About him, it says;
\nIsaiah 3:10<\/a>
\n“אִמְרוּ צַדִּיק כִּי טוֹב כִּי פְרִי מַעַלְלֵיהֶם יֹאכֵלוּ.”
\n“Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, For they shall eat the fruit of their doings.”
\nPsalm 145:9<\/a>
\n“טוֹב יְהוָה לַכֹּל וְרַחֲמָיו עַל כָּל מַעֲשָׂיו.”
\n“YHVH<\/a> is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works.”
\nThis means that when Yessod<\/a> of Zeir Anpin<\/a> comes out of Binah<\/a>, he is counted as the seventh from Binah<\/a>, and as Rabbi Yitzchak said, the world rests on him.<\/p>\n

\nRabbi Yitzchak says, it is written;
\nGenesis 2:10<\/a>
\n“וְנָהָרּ יֹצֵא מֵעֵדֶן לְהַשְׁקוֹת אֶת הַגָּן וּמִשָּׁם יִפָּרֵד וְהָיָה לְאַרְבָּעָה רָאשִׁים.”
\n“Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four river heads.”
\nThe river is Yessod<\/a> of Zeir Anpin<\/a> that comes out of Binah<\/a> and joins Chokmah<\/a>, Eden. This is the pillar that the world rests upon it. He waters the garden that is the Nukva<\/a>, and from it come fruits that are the souls of human beings. These fruits give existence to the world and the Torah. They are the souls of Tzadikim, who are the fruits of Hashem<\/a>’s deeds.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nEverything from above comes through Yessod<\/a> and manifests in Malchut<\/a>, which is the world we live in.
\nThe souls of humans are the reason for the flow of Light, water, life force from above to below.
\nMore so is with the Torah. The Tzadikim and the Torah are the main vessels that draw the Light from above. With fewer people in this world, the Light would be ‘dimmed,’ and darkness would spread in this world. Without activating the Torah in this world through studies and reading it every 72 hours (We read the Torah on Monday, Thursday, and Shabbat), the world would collapse into chaos and possibly the state before creation.
\nThe evil forces running this world in our times want to stop the flow of the river because they can’t draw Light by themselves. They want to consume the Light from people, so they plot to reduce the population of the world. They want to make people submissive and hopeless by taking away their faith<\/a>, health, food, and hope. They cause chaos everywhere and instigate wars all over the world. They don’t care about the outcome. The greater the chaos the greater their pleasure.
\nThe Light and life force come from the Yessod<\/a> of Zeir Anpin<\/a>. It is represented by the reproductive organs in the human body. They try to eliminate the connection between males and females and stop the ‘fruitfulness’ of humans.
\nOur weapon against the evil side is a strong faith<\/a> and certainty in Hashem<\/a>. We study the Torah and Zohar to draw Light to this world and push away the darkness they wish to impose on us.
\nThis is how we keep the river flowing to this world to nourish us and, at the same time, drown evil.<\/p>\n
