\nThey heard a voice from the heavens saying, the secrets of the secrets, passed on by the first ones to the future generations. The decree of heaven does not affect here because the people know how to cancel it.
\nRabbi Echa felt weak, and he fell asleep. He heard voices telling him, as you have done this, you can tell the people to repent because they are considered wicked. Rabbi Echa woke up and made them do complete repentance<\/a>. Also, they accepted that they would never stop the study of the Torah. They changed the name of the town to ‘מָתָא מַחְסֵיָא’ (pronounced ‘Mata Machseya’), which means “City of Mercy.”<\/p>\n

\nRabbi Yehuda said it is not enough for the Tzadikim to cancel a decree, but afterward, they receive blessings. Because the soul speaks to the body, “Hurry….”, Genesis 18:6<\/a>
\n“וַיְמַהֵר אַבְרָהָם הָאֹהֱלָה אֶל שָׂרָה וַיֹּאמֶר מַהֲרִי שְׁלֹשׁ סְאִים קֶמַח סֹלֶת לוּשִׁי וַעֲשִׂי עֻגוֹת.”
\n“So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah and said, “Quickly, make ready three measures of fine meal; knead it and make cakes.”
\nWhen the soul rushes to do the right things, the bad decrees are canceled. After that, it says, “I will return to you, about this time next year,” which means that a blessing would follow. <\/p>\n

\nSince the angels see that the person took the right advice for his soul, they go to the wicked and examine what judgment to execute on them, as it is written;
\nGenesis 18:16<\/a>
\n“וַיָּקֻמוּ מִשָּׁם הָאֲנָשִׁים וַיַּשְׁקִפוּ עַל פְּנֵי סְדֹם וְאַבְרָהָם הֹלֵךְ עִמָּם לְשַׁלְּחָם.”
\n“Then the men rose from there and looked toward Sodom, and Abraham went with them to send them on the way.”
\nThe angels went to Sodom to execute judgment upon them.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nRabbi Echa felt weak and fell asleep because he was tired from the experience.
\nWhen a Tzadik does something for others, he makes great efforts to connect his soul and body and create a big vessel to fit the Light he wishes to draw.
\nMany Tzadikim were going into long fasting periods to pray for others and open greater channels of Light.
\nAnother lesson is that the angels who execute judgments cannot hurt us when we do the right things. It is important to connect to the Torah and Zohar study every day to push away angels of judgments until we reveal enough Light that wipes judgments from our ‘file.’
\nWe are glad to have the Daily Zohar channel in our lives as it helps us push away judgments and draw blessings. It happens when we keep a continuous connection to the great Light revealed from the Zohar studies from this source or others. <\/p>\n
