Tikkun 47<\/strong> – 13<\/p>\n

When we have a group of three or more men in the meal we add blessing over wine to the blessing of the food.<\/p>\n

The wine, יַיִן, has numerical value of 70 and brings the aspect of the seven sefirot. The cup, כּוֹס, is numerically 86, as in the name of God, (Elokim) אלהים. It is washed from the outside and the inside to make it a vessel for the light.<\/p>\n

When the cup is filled, it is lifted with two hands by one person and received by the one that says the blessing with two hands. These actions bring the aspect of YHVH<\/a> (right) to ELOKIM (left) and the blessing forms the central column.<\/p>\n

After receiving the wine he looks at the wine to connect the level of Chokmah<\/a> (eyes) to the wine and the blessings. Then he looks at the participants of the meal to ‘broadcast’ the blessing to all.<\/p>\n

The cup for the wine blessings is preferred to be made out of silver to enhanced the aspect of sharing and right column<\/a> energy.<\/p>\n
